The video game industry is dieing? Then why am I still enjoying new games?
Its not that people aren't buying games, its that there is just so much shit pouring out of every crevasse of the bloated video game industry. Developers are releasing unfinished gaames, games are costing full price and only lasting 6 hours and we keep seeing the same thing again and again. People are buying games, just the games worth buying. Right now I want 10 games this fall, that's $600 mo...
Their game will probably be on the 360, 720 and PS3. Possibly a launch title for the 720. The 720 and PS4 will probably get the sequel exclusively. I have no clue if Nintendo's next console will get it. Bungie are amazing developers and I can't wait to see what they have for all of us.
Sorry, MS, I'm forgetting Kinect.
RDR bug filled? That's funny.
6. We've seen this game 20 times before.
He talks like every FPS is Call of Duty now, bad article.
I bought ODST for Firefight and still play it. The game went back to Halo's roots and was very enjoyable. I'd rather spend $60 on that then any 8 hour single player game.
I saw another preview and the game puts you with only one other Spartan at some points. I think we will only be seeing 9 Spartans(Noble 1-5+4 Noble 6s) at once during some large battles in the campaign. The enemies also compensate for Co-op partners.
I might attend, hopefully its good and they give out something free.
Most preorders of any game right now. In the end its how many people are anticipating it, not how bad the select few are and how long they have waited. Halo: Reach is the most anticipated game of 2010 as of now.
They did this for a good reason. There is no chance I'd buy Crisis 2 this year, I've got Halo. A much better chance I will next year, though it might be this or Brink, maybe both if possible. If I get a PS3 there is no chance I'd get either of them over Killzone 3.
Release a demo after 9 months? Why not do it before the game release?
For a video about a chicken that was emotional. I have no money because of college, but I'll find a way to pay for the Collector's Edition. The Industrial Revolution theme is nice, I haven't seen a game with it. I'm glad guns are the primary ranged weapon, bows were so useless in Fable 2.
They did delay the PC version, maybe MS did something right for once. If not it will still be a good game. I'm buying it on the 360 anyways.
Easily fakable so its confirmed.
Rockstar did a great job with GTA IV. Both DLC had the content of some full games for $20 each.
Halo did a good job with the map packs. The two forge maps become map makers. The prices also dropped at a fair time.
In CoD one guy tubing or commando tac knifing can win the game. One guy camping to get a nuke can win the game. Team work is anything but a necessity and strategy doesn't really exist.
As far FPS goes, to be very good at Halo requires you and your team to think about what you're doing, work together and control the map.
I don't think you actually know how competitive Halo works. The maps are set up is a way that requires you to control the map with strategy. There are weapons placed around that are fought over. There are always multiple weapons that ensures you can't stay in one spot for long, otherwise you will be out gunned or flanked. The map...
Just because shit sells doesn't make it good. Halo is a lot more than point in click. Weapons, melee, grenades, position, player movement, teamwork and map control all affect the outcome of a fight. In CoD one grenade, one melee or one spray of an AR is all it takes while you trap players at their spawn. There isn't much going on CoD, I think that's why it is more popular. People like the simple, bland gameplay that doesn't make them think. Halo also allows you to customize yo...
I think you're overreacting just a little bit. Don't be made at successful people, it just makes you look sad. $60 is not too much for some games. Some developers need to realize their game might only be worth $30 or $45 though. Would you rather sell millions a $30 each or have people buying it 6 months later for $10? Just don't buy games that are overpriced and eventually developers will realize they need to up the content their games has or drop the price some.
