Some of us old timers like these sprites.
Maybe you guys should buy more traditional handhelds, and then maybe publishers will pay more attention. This isn't a company decision because mobile devices are so much cooler. They go where the audience is.
Here's the reason, the Vita is selling poorly, and iOS devices sell quite well.
Agreed
Let's stop pretending violent games are immune to criticism.
"Sigh" in an article title. Good to know N4G has standards. ;)
N4G is a Sony fan site, so of course the vast majority of people here will discredit this thing.
There's no use arguing. N4G is primarily made up of Sony fans blind to the fact that the company cannot stop bleeding money with each bonehead decision. But hey, it has "the best first party exclusives". ;)
Coming soon from Sony and Microsoft....controllers with built in screens.
It's crazy how much hate the Wii U gets for a system that just came out. It's been available for little over a month. Why don't we see how the console evolves over time. People pretend like the Xbox 360 and PS3 didn't struggle initially. 360 with red rings of death and highly criticized launch games (COD excluded), PS3 for a supremely high price tag, lack of rumble in the controllers.
At the end of the day, articles about the Vita and PS3 substituting as a Wii U don't make much sense. Similar functionality? Sure. No doubt, but the Wii U is a device custom built around this type of experience.
True...this isn't our official list of best games of 2012. This is purely numbers driven, based on what our readers/visitors were searching for throughout the year. :)
Well, if anyone questioned this site's allegiance to a specific company, here is the proof. Top story? A holiday card from Sony.
It's easy to have a PS3 backlog when the system's been our since 2006. Ah, you N4G PS3 fanboys have no perspective.
PS3 all over again. System is already over hyped. Then it'll come out, and guess what? Next Xbox ports. So why don't we all calm down until we see some games....actual finished games, and not Killzone demos. ;)
Would love to know where Sony's pulling the money for that.
Most of the websites that dominate N4G are blogs. Get over it.
Awesome, yet another port of a console game. And some people wonder why the system struggles.
Can't wait for the next Xbox and PlayStation to come out, obviously rushed to market, overpriced and faulty.
How many people realistically go with the PS3/Vits combo in favor of the Wii U? I keep hearing this combo claim, and it just doesn't make sense from a mass market perspective. Sony's not even selling enough Vitas right now to make this work, nor are there enough games that come close to replicating what the Wii U can do in tandem with its controller.
