This holiday season will make or break this machine. It didn't really benefit from any holiday rush in Japan last year bc it debuted a bit late. Now comes the real test. If it doesn't sell with Assassin's Creed, COD, and All Stars....done.
The system isn't even out yet. How can we say any of what she mentions is a mistake? She assumes Mario is an average run of the mill 2D game, and she hasn't let Nintendo begin the marketing push that'll obviously take place, where the company will spotlight controllers and let the public know how things charge and what not. As for that last point she made, this is exactly why gamers are spoiled and ungrateful. They complain about 3DS not having a Mario at launch. So what does ...
It's the beginning of the end of Sony as we know it. Company needs to form a new strategy to deal with the rapidly evolving game industry. It should be fine.
Only if these games sell.
Yes, it is a blatant rip-off, but everything's a rip-off of something these days. Both games can co-exist, and rest assured, Nintendo will punk this game when the next Smash appears.
Sorry, Sony fans, but this isn't 2002, and it sure as hell isn't 1996. Sony has an expensive portable system nobody wants, a lack of exclusive third party support that helped drive PSOne and PS2 sales, a form of media in Blu-ray that'll never achieve DVD like numbers, and first party games that, while good, don't sell in high enough quantities. Are you really putting all your hopes in PlayStation All Stars and that game from Quantic Dream that'll move 2 million units, at ...
Face it, PS fans...the goose is cooked!
Really? Those few paragraphs make the front page of N4G? :)
Well said. I think they viewed this as an apology of sorts for missing two deadlines.
In other words....Dead Trigger released today on Android with an update that iOS users won't be able to download yet.
Head to the developer website...look at recent post....zombies. Nice try though.
Here's what the "core" gamer did for Nintendo several years ago...put it in third place with the GameCube. Nintendo will always release games based on its franchises, but these days, companies need more than the "hardcore" to sell systems. You guys simply don't have enough consumer power. Get over it.
Yes, Usher performing helped Sony....I'm sure that's what everyone watching from home immediately thought...seriously, how old are the people who comment on this website?
No one stays on top forever. Truth.
People who really want to vote will do so, Halo 4 or no.
Can't wait...easily my most anticipated game of 2012!
Well no one said Nintendo was going to take years and years to make this game, either.
Just too many whiny gamers out there, living in the bubble.
Do we even know how well this thing is selling? One thing is for sure, that 10,000 per month average in japan won't get the job done.
The Wii lineup has somehow become underrated. Yes, I know the graphics are inferior and there's no Xbox Live or even PSN style online service...but ask me to rattle off 50 games everyone should play, and I feel this could get done very quickly.
