It's fine for a port of an Xbox 360/PS3 game that Ubi rushed out the door. Nintendo will be in trouble if this happens next fall.
Exactly.
I agree...pre-ordered a while ago. I'll stay on the green team.
It's a solid first effort...too early to say whether it will grow into a series. But yes, being a first attempt, and a good one, it doesn't come close to the amount of content and polish in a new Smash Bros. Of course, Nintendo has had years to work on its franchise.
Right....so if it's 6.5 on its own, but it's a great pack in game, what's the great pack in game score? 8? 9?
So if it's great as a pack in game, what is the revised score?
That's impressive for Sony, considering its mistakes early on in the PS3's life.
Haha....gamers buy games and systems, hence sales. Geez.
I mean, you're always going to pay more, but that's the price you pay for being an early adopter. It's about the exciting rush of being able to play something asap.
I mean...sell Vitas. They can't even do that.
People applauded Sony's $250 price because it pulled the system even with 3DS. Then Nintendo was forced to flip the script, and from that point on, Vita was too expensive.
"Hardcore" gamers denying the mobile threat is really the global warming discussion for this industry. Yes, it exists. You can't approach mobile solely based on your purchasing decisions. Millions don't care about tangible buttons. All they want are free games, Infinity Blade and Angry Birds. And with more and more console games from the past getting ported...yea, it's a serious issue for both Sony and Nintendo...but more so Sony, because it has the more expensive h...
3DS isn't necessarily the only competitor. Vita must also survive the smart phones and tablet market, where the graphics advance at such a fast rate, Sony's portable will be under powered in just a couple of years. For a system where power is such a huge focus, that's a big problem.
To those complaining about the one year cycle, this game has in development much longer, so calm down.
They don't owe anyone an apology. They made what they thought was the best decision at the time, considering their current skill set, and it didn't work out. PS3 fans should be happy they received the game at all.
Outstanding lineup. I am INTENTIONALLY skipping those multi-platform games on 360 and PS3 to play them on Wii U.
Wow...a headline that purposely mentions PS3 on a pro Sony website like N4G? I can't believe it.
No PS4 in 2013....sorry. Not happening unless Sony wants to rewrite history. You need at least two E3s before next gen systems ship.
Just out of curiosity, which system had a better lineup? For now, it seems like Wii U will launch with Mario, Nintendoland, ZombiU, Assassins Creed 3, Mass Effect 3, Darksiders 2, Ninja Gaiden 3, Rayman Legends and other games. I know some of those have been available for months, but to first time players, it's quite exceptional, so long as the ports hold up.
This game will come out next Spring. Stop the rumors. No press events scheduled...no cover stories...no online previews...the game isn't coming.
160,000 Vita is good, but Sony needs to have deals like that after the holidays as well. Congrats, 160,000 shoppers picked up an excellent deal, but what will that amount to starting January and throughout 2013?
