I am playing since my ninth. An old Commodore 64 with big floppy disks was my first gaming computer and 28 years later I am still playing games on a PS4 and waiting to buy a PS5. With two young kids it's hard to find time to play lately . They love to watch me playing games so I have to be picky with what to play. As much I love TLOA 2, I can't let them watch these kind of games.
I have never played FFVII (started with FFX in the series) so I really want to play the remake , but I'll wait untill I know how many parts they are going make of the remake. I want to buy the whole package before I start the remake. FFXVI will be my first next Final Fantasy I guess.
As a Playstation fan I say well done Nintendo.
And the gap wil only grow in favor of the PS4 I think. There is a uge shortage of semi conductors thanks to covid. This will continue for the coming months. I have actually give up hope to get a PS5 this year.
Now I think of it. I haven't bought a single Ubisoft game during the PS4, Xbox one generation.
I am a big fan of the Witcher 2 and 3 games , but I have completely lost interest in Cyberpunk. I don't have a PS5 or a capable pc to play it and when I have one, I'll probably be occupied with other games.
I just started the game this week after playing the first entry. I am just past the first gruesome part and I was really shocked. I have played a lot of different horror games the last 20 years, but this is something else. Still I cant stop playing the game. It looks and plays fantastic. This shows how talenting ND is.
I am playing the game on my good old PS4 and still really enjoying it. Load times are faster since the Beyond Light update.
And because of this I'll never buy a console on day one. Just wait and see if this is a serious problem like the drifting problem with the Nintendo Switch controllers.
CDPR have managed to run Witcher 2 on Xbox 360 which was a big achievement back than I believe. So running Cyperpunk on a base PS4 or Xbox One shouldn't be that big of a problem.
So no point to buy it for PS4 than. I'll pass this game untill I have a PS5.
I have yet to buy a 4K television so why bother about 8K resolution.
I haven't pre ordered anything so nothing to stress about. :-)
This game looks insane. I love the spider boss fight.
More time for Destiny 2 Beyond Light so I don't mind.
Not really interested in the Xbox console, but I think Game Pass on the other hand is a very interesting service. Ps5 would do for now and maybe in a year or two I would like to invest in a good gaming pc and Game Pass for the Bethesda games and other exclusives.
Just finished the game and for me it is a masterpiece. So many memorable characters.
I still have to pick this one up, but my backlog is just to big and as a parent not enough time to play.
I use Remote Play (base PS4) on my laptop with an utp cable and works just fine. It is just 720p resolution, but still horrible thru WiFi. I think 1080p will the be max with what my network can handle with the standard modem/router of my ISP.
I have kind of forgot about this game. I hope they will redeem themselves with a next Witcher game.
