I just bought the Portal, because my television is accopied by my wife and children most of the time. I prefer to invest in more playtime over a somewhat better performance.
As Mark Cerny said earlier. It takes 4 years to build a console. Sony probably has already set the specs for the PS6. Now AMD has to build the new chips.
I have the PS5 "phat " disc edition incl. the standard for 500 Euro's. I see no reason to upgrade to PS5 Pro for 800 Euro's. The disc drive and standard are not even included. I will save the money for a PS6.
You can still Pre-order the PS5 PRO in my region (Netherlands) so it's not going very well I guess.

Well that's great but still not worth 420 Euro's more above the base model. I will wait for the PS6 and hopefully it will have a disc drive optional. So I can replay the whole trilogy in the best performance possible.
I had the fist PlayStation, PS2, PS4, Xbox OG and Xbox 360. I have never experienced a problem with one of them and had them for a least 6 years. My PS5 is 3 years old and zero hardware issues.
Not really. You're right about just not buying if it's not worth it. I am just fine with my base PS5. I am just scared about the future. What will this mean for the PS6.
Wow Sony. 800 Euro's for the pro console without a disk drive. You must be delusional. Most impressive way to kill your brand. I am a PlayStation fan since the first console but you lose my respect by the day. If the PS6 is gonna cost this much I might as well go for pc.
They have enough IP's but nog enough studio's to actually make them.
You're are right. Big leaps every generation are a thing of the past after the PS3. The genererional leaps are getting smaller and smaller. The PS5 PRO will just run a little bit better than the base model, but will cost you 200 Euro's/Dollars more while the PS4 Pro had the same price as Ps4 launch price. This doesn't look good for the next generation.

I feel the same about this generation. Horrendous is maybe exaggerating, but not much exiting is happening. Still great games are coming out, but not as exiting, new and fresh as in the past. I don't expect much of the PS6 while it still is far away. I might as well move to PC in the near future.
No. The quality of the stream depends on your network not the console itself. You get the best results when the PS5 is connected with a UTP cable.
