Do you think Microsoft even care about the hardware sales of Xbox? They buy up all the RAM for their AI servers. They actually don't want you to buy hardware but use cloud their subscription to play AI produced low quality slob.

I have played Clair Obscur and Death Stranding 2. Both are amazing games but for me DS2 is my number one game of 2025. A true masterpiece.
Maybe it's a good time to buy a PS5 Pro. The Steam Machine probably will has the same price for less performane. The PS6 release will be difficult due to skyrocketing prices of RAM and other parts.

The PS5 PRO cost almost 1000 Euro's including the discdrive (if you're lucky enough to find one for a normal price). Just not worth it. The Pro will fail miserably. The PS6 will release in 2027 and no developer will care about the PS5 PRO from then.
I think the next generation consoles is not about the best hardware but about who has the best upscaler and use of AI technology.
Just make a whishlist and see if there is a game discounted. Saves a lot of time scrolling thru shovelware.

Sony should offer a new cheaper tier Ps Plus subscription just with online gaming and cloud saving. I couldn't be bothered with the monthly games.
