I prestiged 3 times in MW1 and I've been sick of COD since. It's the same rinse and repeat gameplay. I think 2013 as well. I wouldn't look for MS to announce a new console until 6 monthes before launch. Thats how they did it with the 360. If you think about it a new console announcement can hurt the sales of the current gen console.
They really don't need to wait on launching a new console. If they want to be competitive they need to launch close to the other consoles. Unless they just don't care about competition. Which seems the route Ninny's taking. Who knows we may have a 1-3 year gap between all the next-gen consoles.

I would say you are right. Its all business though. If MS wants to pay for that, then they are totally within there right to do so. It's exclusive stuff like this that MS pays for instead of spending more on buying studios. Id say it works too because it must suck to be only a PC,PS3 owner. But really a month between releases isn't that bad. Although it does give people a reason to own a 360.

Sony still has plenty of studios to fall back on. Resistance ,regardless of what some would say, was a generic shooter. There are plenty of other world class shooters to choose from.

The 360 has kept me satisfied. I have had no desire to buy a PS3. So they have more exclusives, most are mediocre and don't sell well anyway. 360 has Live and it's much better than PSN. Not to mention multiplats perform better on the 360.
