Festano, don't worry man, I'm right there with you. People need to learn patience. Nothing that is released now-a-days is bug free. People should also understand that no one held a gun to their head forcing them to buy the game in the first place. So if you've paid for a game, and you want it to work perfectly, be patient. Or sell the game, no one is forcing you to keep it, unless you bought it on PC.
And I also want to add that I laugh at the people who bought ...
They tried to justify the videos as showing how the glitch is done so Massive can fix the glitches, lol. I don't buy that for one second.
Also, the glitch that allows you to get the 240 gear piece by switching the group lead to someone who hasn't completed it yet, how can you even blame gamers for this? It's similar to the mask glitch before, where I only knew the mask was continuously healing me the first time a cleaner hit me with fire. Some of these bugs play...
The One Is None perk is what typically causes the gun jam, as well as specific talents on weapons (example: 13% chance of refilling the magazine when killing an enemy with a headshot).
They need to fix crafting. They went from one extreme to the other. I went from crafting 5 to 10 items a day to 1.
They need to replace mobile cover, which would eliminate a large portion of the glitching that leads to exploits. I have recommended a Security Drone, that is si...
You sir are my new friend. I don't understand why people are freaking out. There's people at Massive that are currently employed by Massive that are working every day to try and improve the game. It's not like they released the latest patch and just walked out. The game has been out for a little over a month. Magic doesn't happen over night, unless you're Harry Potter, obviously. People need to learn patience.
That's completely incorrect. It has more to do with the quality of the drop, versus how often high end items drop for you. Especially considering how high end items drop for you all the time now. That right there should inform you that your idea of scavenging is incorrect.
For example, pre-patch my scavenging was at 40%, I got some high ends but were all ilvl 30 (163gs). Post-patch, my scavenging is at 106%, and I get high ends all the time just like everyone else, but wh...
I wouldn't say it's a step in the wrong direction. Technically, this mode would have been in the game had it made the final release in time. All the game needs is more to do, which is what this is. Just something else to do. Throw it in the mix with challenge daily missions, challenge missions in general and DZ runs, it's a nice handful of activities that'll keep you plenty busy. I expect Underground to up the game quite a bit.
They're going the right dire...
It's likely due to them missing their original deadline for when Incursions was suppose to release. So the code probably got all kinds of out of whack. Everyone loves to laugh at devs for breaking their own stuff, but no one understands how hard it is to code a video game unless you're a dev.
Yep, I actually hardly ever run daily missions. I never run the hard ones, and if the challenge one is WarrenGate Power Plant, I just do a few Lexington Event Center runs. It's not about the difficulty, it's just quicker lol. And we're talking about losing out on like 60 phoenix creds. Not a big deal at all when you can just do a few extra Lexington runs to make up for the difference.
Every headshot. Caduce duce for da win.
The matchmaking is the problem with the DZ right now. Hopefully the coming update will fix it, by creating a bracket for players with a gamer score of 160+. But that range could still be extremely large, while still creating a large gap between the weakest and strongest of players.
Yeah I hope so too man. I feel really bad for them right now. Most of them probably paid $100 for the game, and haven't been able to play it for weeks.
Sort of.... in the State of the Game on their Twitch channel they stated that they're hoping the fix works but are not 100% certain. They'll need to see how a larger selection of players' accounts react to the fix.
Those are all temporary issues however. It's fairly clear to most that their year one plan is very solid. Especially based on the information we received today about Incursions, daily activities, new weapons and gear, and more.
Bugs, exploits and hackers are to be expected with almost any new title. Most of which are resolved within a few months of the game being out. If anything, I'd at least recommend checking it out later this year, around Christmas time. Should be...
Couldn't have said it better myself.
The copious amount of bugs and hackers running rampant in the DZ would be my only complaints. I haven't experienced graphical issues, connection issues or anything of the sort. Since their latest changes to the DZ, I find the entire game to be quite enjoyable. If it weren't for the bugs and exploits, I'd give it a solid 10/10.
8.5.... Solid campaign, strong PvEvP section in the Dark Zone that still needs a few tweaks. Outstanding gunplay, decent loot system that still needs some tweaks. The biggest knock on The Division is the copious amount of bugs in the game, as well as the amount of hackers running rampant in the DZ. There's a current bug preventing players from logging in that have crafted a high end backpack. There apparently is a game breaking bug that has prevented some players from launching the game s...
I disagree with part of your statement. I think enemies are noticeably different as you approach lvl 30 in PvE. The endgame is really the Dark Zone, Challenging Missions, daily Challenging and Hard missions. I wouldn't say there's a lack of endgame content, considering this game was built and designed for the casual gamer. I think that what we have is a base game with a ton of potential. Their plan for year one I think is sound and the content for the next two FREE updates will add a ...
You can put in more time if you want the best gear. I've put in nearly 150hrs and still haven't reached DZ lvl 50 yet, which is when you can buy the best blueprints from the DZ vendors. Then you'll have to farm division tech resources to craft said items. People just like to harp on the fact that the campaign can be beaten in two days. Which is accurate, but the campaign can be lengthy if you allow it to be instead of doing a speed run. And if you've played Destiny, the campai...
That's actually what is suppose to happen. The DZ is a team oriented aspect of the game. You can do matchmaking for the DZ as well. A team of four has a higher chance of survival versus one or two players. But don't be mad about it, I've seen, with my own two eyes, a team of two take down a team of four. Even one time, it took all four of the guys on my team, including myself, to take down one guy who was super skilled. It's just people who suck at PvP or those who die and rag...
@WilliamSheridan.... they did ok with The Division, but it's currently unplayable by tens of thousands of people because the game automatically crashes when you launch it. I was one of the lucky few who haven't really ran into any game breaking issues. However, the way they're handling hackers right now is unreal. To have paid $100 and the PvP area (Dark Zone) is basically unplayable in the state it's currently in.
Words make man strong.
