Gears of War 3 is the only game i will buy on launch day , Resistance 3 , Dead Island and Ico/Sotc will all get played but will have to wait .
Would've been good if they had kept it in this game but maybe on a "Hardcore" setting , similar to what was in Fallout New Vegas , where playing "Hardcore" meant you had to eat and drink.
I bought the hardback guide so that i can complete everything on a 2nd-3rd playthrough , i'll finish my 1st playthrough before i look at it.
A DLC horde mode could be entertaining and would keep MP optional . Personally all i'm interested in is finding out how Shep's story ends , great story , fleshed out characters and more focus on roleplaying for me = great game.
I'll be buying both , although i prefer the multiplayer in Battlefield so that will get more use.

I'd much rather that they concentrated on expanding on the single player , instead of tacking on an mp that really isn't needed . It could beargued that co-op would be a good addition but for me Mass Effect is all about Shepard and his story , therefore a co-op mode would just be a feature aimed at the "CoD Crowd"

I'm sure MW3 will sell a lot more than Battlefield 3 but i know i'll be playing BF3 multiplayer for a very very long time. I just don't enjoy the mp that CoD has.
Shepard must survive , even if the rest of the Galaxy is doomed.
My favourite characters are ones who have been there from the start , Garrus , Liara, Wrex and to a lesser extent Tali , from ME2 i only really liked Mordin and Legion.
Maps that are the same size as BFBC2 would be perfect , they felt huge even on consoles

If it is co-op then i really hope it'll be DLC , adding on an mp mode would surely mean that recources would be taken away from the sp game .
Not something i would normally do but for Mass Effect i'll make an exception
I'll be getting the CE on 360 and the regular edition on PS3 , or Vice Versa .
LotSB was a brilliant piece of DLC , especially for people who had romanced Liara in the original Mass Effect.
Roll on ME3
Every version will have Shepard and Liara , that is all that matters.
