Forget the games list.
Everything else is spot on, Sony will charge to use their "Free" service, every little item in your "Home" will cost real world money, you may get some for getting certain "achievements", then again you may not.
If you don't want to "furnish" your pad then it's free but their will be millions of users who get "sucked in" to their virtuasl identity, for them it will definitely not be free.

As i said it's not about winning, Ms just has to increase it's brand awareness. MS are here to stay in the console market and this is another franchise which has made it onto their platform, it's not just about now, MS will be looking to the future, beyond this generation.
The more huge titles like this they can get, the more people will take notice next time around, MS aren't just about this generation, they need devs like Rockstar to bring their big-hitters on board and they ...
I don't think that it's about winning, it's more about hitting PS3 sales and having GTA 4 is a big coup for Microsoft, whether some people admit it or not, i remember visiting this site very early on in GTA 4 development, before a 360 version was confirmed, the amount of PS3 "fanboys" claiming that this game would be a huge console seller was incredible, now all the PS3 owners are saying it doesn't matter.
I've got both a PS3 and 360, will get this for the PS3 but it'...
I was exactly the same but the new videos have made me take notice again, it looks to be shaping up well.
Wouldn't have made any difference, they marked it down because in their own words, it's the same old same old, doesn't matter which platform you play it on. For real fans that won't be a problem but for more casual gamers, there's not really that much to make you stop and think wow.
And my 360 is a launch day console that has been on for probably months in total, so there's not really a point to be made there.
You can bet that the average GTA fan will know soon enough, MS will obviously be hitting the ad campaign very hard, someone already said cereal packets, fast food chains, etc, etc, probably not too far from the truth, that's what this whole article is about, not who's got the best version but who's got a version full stop, people will know that they can get it on 360 or PS3 and MS are just hoping to hit PS3 sales.
I'll get it on PS3 but only because it's a newer console, as far...
Localisation ? Nonsense !
This has always been the problem with Sony and Nintendo, they see the European market as worthless, Sony in the past have said that the European market doesn't count for much in the grand scheme, here we are in their 3rd generation console and we still wait longer than anyone for games, peripherals, even the actual console.
Since the release of Xbox it's been different, Europe has been treated virtually identical to USA, if MS can do it,...
Have a look at online stores in Europe
Gameplay
Play
Just to name 2
The PS3 version is more expensive, you could get the ltd edition on 360 for less than the regular on PS3
That's the million dollar question as far as European gamers are concerned, i've no doubt that they'll claim it's to do with "Localisation", it's the usual answer.
I can't believe you just did that, i've still got the final quarter to watch,
Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! !!!!!
A definite purchase for me, looking really good, just the small matter of when's it coming out ?????
Someone make a character for Lance Henrikson please, coolest voice ever.
Also looking forward to this, it's a must buy on launch day for me, could be a real sleeper hit.
I'm not bothered about a 20 minute install but it should be optional and it should eliminate loading times, knocking a couple of seconds off a 7 second loading time is worthless. I like a lot of people am concerned that consoles are going down the PC route, 5gb might not be much for some people but if you've got a 20gb PS3, then that's 25%. Add this to the £10 more for PS3 game in Europe and i'm thinking i would've been better off ordering it on the 360.
Of course you've got first hand experience of playing both games, right ?
I never realised that these games were finished and playable.
Smartest comment i've ever seen on here. LMAO
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Posted this in the open zone but meant to put it in here. Doh !
The painting and customisation options on Forza elevate it above GT5 IMO. I spent more hours painting and selling on Forza 2 than i did racing, I know that i'll tire of GT5 long before i did with Forza, GT5 looks amazing but the game will be the same as it always has been, great if you just want to race but these days it should offer more, i just hope that they've sorted out the notoriously terrible AI

I do not think that the Dead or Alive series is or has ever been AAA title.

I've watched a couple of vids of this lately on IGN and it's looking good now, i couldn't believe that it's the same game they were showing last year, the extra dev time looks to be getting put to good use, it's definitely back on my wanted list.
