I hate Nuketown.
Some retailers in the UK have broken the street date aswell , had a couple of friends on my list playing it last night . I couldn't get any info out of them because they went quiet and wouldn't answer (Couldn't blame them).
Not game - breakingly so but it is overpowered , i like the idea that has been posted about it sticking into buildings ,would be far better than having it bounce around and kill you by hitting you in the ankle.
It's a one hit kill weapon that can be thrown the length of the level and bounce around , of course it's too powerful.
I'm sure this game will be brilliant but i do have qualms about not being able to change wheels on standard cars , i like to personalise everything and while it may seem insignificant i actually think it's quite a big deal.
I wouldn't boycott the game or start slagging people off about it but it is slightly disappointing
Collectors edition on day one without a shadow of a doubt.
Party ystem on PS3 is FUBAR , if you're lucky enough to get into a party that's when the real problems begin , as host you choose to join a game and your party don't automatically follow , happened to me evry single time.
I don't believe this date , it's too close and there has not been one bit of advertisement or promotion. If you head over to GTPlanet you will find that Sony is still censoring videos that have been surfacing from people who allegedly have the finished product , that is not the sign of a company who are about to release arguably their biggest franchise.
I only had lag once while playing last night and that was when i was the host , thanks to my IP getting too big and bringing too many people on board , my speeds now suck.
Should encourage a lot of sharing cars with your friends ,if you get a bunch of people together and buy different cars hopefully you'll be able to loan them out.
I have about 50 hours playthime and the game has frozen twice , not a big deal for me but i know others have had problems. Only thing i really want is PS3 players to get the DLC that 360 owners will be getting.
Bring it on.
But it wasn't so just get over it and wait a bit longer.
The month is young , there is plenty more time for them to add more content and i would xpect them to add to that list.

I thought this game had an 18 rating ? ,I'm 40 years old, who are they to decide if it's too nasty for mature gamers ?

I think it's more than likely going to be mid December, although It's kind of worrying that they haven't given it another release date yet.

Speajking as someone who loves both the Forza and Gt franchises it's easy to see that GT is way ahead graphically , i spent probably over 100 hours in the Forza3 photomode and loved it , thought that the cars couldn't look more realistic , i have taken 1 picture in the GT Photo Travel (Mustang Mach 1 '71) and it virtually had me reaching for the tissues , it's incredible , on track it's also a lot better.
