From the two screenshots i saw, the PS3 version does look nicer then the WiiU.
Maybe because its a port? Maybe because theres been 7 years to perfect the ps3 titles.
But its clear, that the screenshot showing batman, regardless that hes wearing a shiny suit in the wii u that the detail and colour looks better on the ps3.

Stories are needed in some games. but take Dead or alive for example. i did not play that for its gripping "story" if you can even call it a story.
