Very interesting list. Shows how sidekicks can often be just as interesting or even more interesting than the heroes!
PC players especially need boobs!
Rock that Dragon!
I'm hungry all of a sudden.
Quite a surprising and interesting list. A few channels in there I hadn't known about or considered.
It was a very bitter parting. I hope we can become lovers once more!
This will be useful for when I start seriously collecting and developing an AVGN-like library of retro games and consoles.
I freaking love banjos.
Too late! I looked and my eyes are already melting at the awe-inspiring horror of the elder gods. Whoopsie-doodle!
Giant freakish naked people stepping on buildings. Just another day at the office.
"Yeah, I'm just standing around in lingerie in front of a tree that grows sheep. No big deal or anything."
Phwoar, eh, lads?
This article doesn't seem to be responding to many of the points actually made by the polygon article. It also cites this strange strawman figure who isn't satisfied with the representation of people of color in games no matter how they are portrayed – but the author of the polygon article clearly states what he would be happy with. The rant at the end that insinuates those who disagree with the author are "entitled idiots" doesn't really help their case either. I often ...
@rainslacker I was the dude who wrote this article. I admit it, guvnor. I was around before this whole weekly sexism drama started. I took a paragraph to mention how rich, diverse and interesting gaming discussion used to be before all the nastiness started. This kind of drama is only gonna stop when we start rising above it or ignoring it, and the peopl...
They need to do what Spec Ops: The Line did and make a standard military shooter into a compelling character study. Immerse us in the main character more and give us a reason to care about him somehow.
I think some people are confusing what Chinese Room are saying about CD Projekt with what they're saying about Cyberpunk 2087. I agree that they seem to be being unfair and jumping to the worst possible conclusion, but how does it help anything to be even more nasty back? It just creates a cycle of anger and misunderstanding that gets worse with every...
Why not try reading the article before commenting? :)
The article only came into existence yesterday. Also, if you read it, you'll find it's actually arguing against clickbait.
Oh, I'm not surprised at all. This kind of thing seems to happen every week now. I'm just hoping, futiley or not, that instead of people responding to a cheap shot in kind, we can start trying and elevate the discourse instead of dragging it further into the ground.
Mega Man himself makes me scratch my head to begin with! Maybe I just have itchy scalp?
