Far Cry 3 is full of screen tearing, it looks really bad and kind of ruins the game for me. Crysis 2 had none on the PS3 version. Killzone 1 & 2 and Rage have no screen tearing either and they both look incredible.
I don't know what everybody is complaining about, I got it yesterday and played all night with no problems. I was surprised by how good the game looks, it looks like an Infinity Ward game. Major improvement over WAW and BO1.
Blu-Ray is constant speed, DVD drives aren't, they're rated at maximum read speed and rarely reach maximum speed. Usually only when reading the outer most edge of the disc.
All copies of Black Ops II at Target and Best Buy on the shelf have the Nuketown Map included, no preorder required. What a waste of time that was preordering.
Interesting, I decided to check out some of the various rip sizes on bittorrent for fun. The XBOX rips are 8gb and the PS3 rips are 16gb. Makes no sense, something to think about.
I'm glad Rockstar is willing to spend extra money for multiple discs instead of sacrificing quality or content.
The 360's DVD drive is a bottle neck that ruins many third party games on all platforms. Its the lowest common denominator all version must conform to, what doesn't fit on a DVD will be sold to you later as DLC.
The sheep will buy it anyways, they've been buying their broken crap for years and will keep buying it over and over again.
