I'm not sure. I hesitate to say that it was lazily ported, but it feels that way.

Recently I took up the task of learning it myself, so I sympathize with how difficult it can be for some.
The Last of Us was so incredible, any follow up DLC was unlikely to shine nearly as brightly standing next to it.
I haven't played it myself, yet, but this review makes it sound as though it still holds true to many of the reasons I loved the game itself.
A must buy for me.

Glad to see GC supporting this game the way that they are. They simply could have left the online unbalanced, or even charged for the maps for that matter, but they've continued to deliver for the fans.

As someone who loved* FPS games, this genre (at least the mainstream competitive side) needed revitalization. I'm not sure this is it, but it's refreshing to see someone take a stab at it.

Update 5 (presumably 1.05) will come later this year. No release date/window has been specified.
I think it's hit or miss. I experienced a ton initially, but they dropped off shortly after. In any event I agree with this being good news, it's refreshing to see a developer look to enhance the experience rather than capitalize on it.
I'd hate to see Nintendo join go the way of SEGA, in fact I'd much rather see the two reach a (more official) partnership in terms of content.
Imagine the Wii U as the exclusive home of Sonic. Yes, I know his brand has fallen by the wayside, however the Wii U's audience may just be the last that has a fondness for SEGA's mascot.
I think it's full of potential, with franchises like Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Sonic, Panzer Dragoo...
