This feels like the game they've wanted to release all this time.
For better or worse.
You too? I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Though my eyes can't decispher what I'm seeing at most times, this game sure is pretty to look at.
Is it strange that I'm more excited for Rogue?
Why fix something that's not broken?
I'm not sure it's that black & white.
If you haven't played Left Behind and/or find a "trade in" option - I think it's viable for many as well.
Of course there's also the collectors & hardcore fans out there, who for which the commentary alone would be worth the price of (re)admission.
Sigh, why must retro-gaming be so costly.
Right?
What are they trying to do, create new and interesting stories within a tenured franchise by way of a relatively new medium.
Screw them.
Wait..
It's on 3DS & PC as well!
I, for one, am glad to see Ubisoft investing so heavily in not only the province of Quebec, but Canada at large.
I'm glad that Square are taking interesting approaches with the potentially reduntant Hitman franchise. It's refreshing and a great way to innovate in gameplay while iterationg on a known franchise.
I like Rainbow Six, a ton, but with Payday 2 & Hardline offering similar - if different - experiences; it's hard not to feel fatigued on this seemingly trendy take on the fps genre.
This may be the injection of novelty that the medium has needed for some time.
Traditional experiences are great, in fact they're why I love games to begin with - but this medium has always been about pushing the limits in terms of mechanics, graphics and perhaps most importantly; immersion.
Excited to see what this new era of gaming will bring.
You're right, he's basically Rayman with a hat.
He wears a black hat, very clever Ubisoft.
Look, I get that games are subjective and what appeals to one person may not appeal to the other but it's hard to argue with the author's point that since the PlayStation 4 has increased in cost in Canada the newly incentivized Xbox One is a comparative bargain.
Yes, there are definitely factors that will sway you either way (PlayStation Plus/Indies for example) - however for those looking for a traditional next-gen experience from their dollars it's hard to argue...
It's a shame because when you're in the flow of things the game can feel very visceral - but having to search for targets rips you out of that dedicated mindset.
No worries, what's life without humour?
Most definitely!
This game may fly under the radar for some, but it's wonderful and worthy of everyone's attention.
