It's funny to see Xbots talk about this wait for a game to install. At least with the PS3 we don't have to wait two weeks to get our console back for a repair. Give me a 20 minute wait over the dreaded RROD.
By the way, when I got home with DMC4 I stuck the nice big Blu-ray disc in my PS3 and started the install. Then I went for a walk for an hour and when I got home it was waiting for me. I don't have to spend every free second gaming.
I don't care what Shame Kim thinks. I'm getting the PS3 version myself. And since the PS3 has a lot of huge games coming out this year it doesn't really matter. What else does the 360 really have this year? Not much to get excited over.
I agree. Not what I'd call a hot list. They act like that list is filled with AAA games. Most are nothing special. All consoles will have plenty of games so you can make a big list for all three. I don't see any big 360 exclusives on the list though. This year is about the PS3 instead. The big AAA games will all be PS3 exclusives.
If it could play Blu-ray movies too it would be worth buying but HD DVD is about dead. No matter what Toshiba keeps saying most people agree. Do you really want to waste money on a piece of hardware that will soon be dead? If so go ahead but that $129 could buy you two new games instead.
That isn't true of PSP batteries. That was laptop batteries and only specific types. That's what you get though for making them in China. We need to get control of production of this kind of stuff. I just don't trust anything from China.
I'd say it happpens once. I've never heard of it before. One in several million, that isn't bad.
Can you say fire sale? If they really want to get rid of them include a game too. Maybe one that has been out a while. Even at this reduced price the drive isn't worth buying.
I don't get that headline. Turok rocks. Yet Gamepro gave it a 3.75. That doesn't sound like a score they'd give a game that rocks. It seems more like a score for a so-so game.
As for buying Turok, no thanks. I played that game on the N64. That was enough.

Hasn't most of the bashing been against Sony more than the PS3 though? A lot of people attacked Sony for the high price of the PS3. Some cried about how the Blu-ray drive made it too expensive. Those fools will soon look stupid though.
Microsoft is saying they want D to be "a declarative language aimed at non-developers." Isn't that what Visual Basic is for? I don't understand trying to make such a complicated language for non-developers.
Can someone please tell me what Microsoft sees in Yahoo that would get them to spend this much money? I just don't see what this will get Microsoft. How do they benefit? I use Google every day. I don't use Microsoft's search engine or Yahoo's. This deal won't get me to change either. I used all kinds of search engines before Google and they drove me crazy. Then Google came out and almost every time I use Google to search the Web I find what I want.

I feel sorry for anyone who cries over a 20 minute wait. So I'll stick the game in and let it install and go take a walk. Big deal. It's a one time thing. I don't know who to believe on if it helps make the game run faster or not. Maybe it helps more later after playing the game longer.
Did you even read the link? If not it says it looks like he didn't do much at all in the new Killzone game. I don't think this loss will hurt the game at all. Nobody is dependent on one artist in gaming.

Who knows really. Microsoft needs to start working on all the features they stripped out of Vista. The early reports had a lot of nice features but most of them were dumped because of time. Vista turned out to be nothing but a nicer looking version of XP with a lot more problems.
I agree. I hurry up already Microsoft. I already rebuilt my desktop and went back to XP. Maybe if SP1 looks a lot better on my laptop I'll give Vista another chance. They're going to have to do a lot for that to happen though.
You know zero about computers and console hardware. The install is to improve the game. The 360 would have it too but all 360s don't have hard drives. Oops, a major weakness of the 360. And that tiny DVD format is going to kill the 360 soon. When you need five discs to hold a single game Xbots will be the ones crying. Bwahaha.
