These crybabies are really annoying. They beg Sony for features for a year. Then they finally get the features and buh, it could be a lot better. It could do this or that. Well, if Sony wanted to delay the update another six months maybe they could have added a lot more features. But sometimes you do the most important features and release it. Then you work on the next update and keep adding to it. We're lucky the PS3 is so easy to update.
That's the problem with the Internet. A few people have trouble with an update and it gets all over the Internet like it's a huge problem. I've never had a problem with any update on my PS3 or PSP. How about we start a story about how many people did the update and had no problem? I'll start it. I did the update last night. It only took a few minutes to download and install it and my PS3 didn't freeze up at all. Anyone else have the same experience?
There should be a law against that. Isn't that considered cruelty giving a hunk of junk to a six year old as a prize?
Maybe Activision could drop the price of their games to $39.99. That would help as much as dropping the price of the consoles. There have been several games I didn't buy when they came out at $59.99 but when I saw them on sale for $39.99 I bought them. The guy who wrote that is such a loser. There's no way the 360 can even handle such a huge game. Maybe they'll dumb it down and use stick figures. But seriously 360 owners who want MGS4, just buy a PS3 if you want the game.
Or at least make a WWII game we haven't seen already. I guess everyone should buy every other COD game now. Buy the even numbers and pass on the odds. I don't understand doing this with the COD franchise. Let Treyarch make their own series if anything. Don't dirty the COD name with inferior garbage.

I liked the first Doom games but Doom 3 was horrible. They should have ended the games before they made Doom 3. I don't care if there is a Doom 4, I won't be buying it. Time to move on to a new story.

That wasn't Sony saying that. It was David Reeves of SCEE. those are the same people at Sony who ignore European gamers. SCEA seems a lot smarter. Disc games aren't going away. I doubt most people will stop buying games on Blu-ray and just download them. Downloading works on PSN but those are small games. I doubt you'll see any 45GB games for sale on PSN.
What's that mean? The PS3 isn't complicated. Sony just makes updates and releases them. Your PS3 updates itself and that's it. How complicated is that?
I find European game reviews rather comical. They just seem to love to complain about all kinds of things. For some reason they love games Americans hate and hate games we like. But who cares what this guy thinks of a free add-on to MGS4 anyway? I could see reviewing it if you had to pay for it. It's just a freebie though.
I don't want any of those games. Aren't most of them also on the PC? If I really want them I'd buy the PC versions. That is a boring list of games actually.
I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. Not everyone cares about online play. I like it but I don't mind games with no online features. There's room for both as far as I'm concerned. Sometimes online play ruins a great game because the developers puts all their time into the online side of the game the single player game ends up being mediocre.
Chris Buffa's clame to shame. He gets his 15 minutes of fame. The 8 isn't the problem really, it's the dumb comments he made. He seemed to give MGS4 a low score for things that gamers like MGS games for. This reminds me of the idiot who reviewed the PS3 Ratchet & Clank game. He likes sports games so R&C Future got a low score because he doesn't like things that make R&C great. I'm to the point I just hate reviews now. I don't read them now since I knew I wanted R&C Future, GTA...
I prefer both. Let the gamer decide. Sometimes you might be playing late at night and want to keep the noise down. But then sometimes the subtitles flash by so fast you can't read them. How about letting us hit a button to move on at least? And some games that use text don't make it easy to read by having it on top of the picture and the text blends into the image and you can't read it.
It's funny they mention the GameDaily review of an 8 and a European review. The Chris Buffa review from AOL Games or whatever they're called was really lame. They must not like MGS games so they gave it an 8.
As for any European review, forget about them. Their overall reviews suck. Let them all give horrible games a 9 out of 10 and great games a 7. Who cares? European game reviewers seem to be in a world of their own. I don't understand that wacky bunch. Especially the British...
I agree with this guy from Microsoft. Metal Gear Solid is as strong as its ever been. In fact, it's even better now. I don't blame them for talking about this great PS3 exclusive.
It's funny to see a game from Nintendo turn into this. They must be getting really upset. There goes their clean image. Next will be actual porno movies with people doing something on the Wii Fit.
