"Microsoft doesn't want Sony products on the Xbox."
If that's true Microsoft better dump their deal with Sony's music division because that division made a deal with Microsoft to supply content for the 360 that the PS3 doesn't even get. That's why I can't believe this deal is about Sony taking the movies down. So far their non-gaming divisions really haven't backed the gaming division properly. Maybe they're finally being forced to. If I was Sony I'd tell Netflix you ...
Netflix on 360 is only going to hurt rental sales. I've watched digital download movies on my PS3 now and they look okay but nothing great. I just watched Iron Man on Blu-ray on my 1080p HDTV though and it looked GREAT. There's a huge difference. I don't see downloads hurting Blu-ray sales at all. Anyone who wants to actually own the movie will buy it on Blu-ray or DVD. Downloading movies just takes too much space on a hard drive and if the drive crashes you have a big mess. Even if you can d...
Valve won't make PS3 games. I wonder if this nimrod is crying over that? Or is he just a 360 fanboy upset he won't get National Geographic? Why was this thing even posted on n4g.com? It seems really lame.
"edit: how did that get a disagree? it was a question that wasn't even positing an opinion. unless tropic thunder doesn't come out this week, in which case touche..."
Don't try to figure out why you get a disagree on this site. I've got them before after posting something that was just fact and couldn't be seen as a fanboy post by anyone with a brain. Too bad this site doesn't let us see who disagrees with us. Then we could look for their posts and disagree all the ti...
I don't know about other people but I'll be buying more Blu-rays from now on. I finally have an HDTV which is 1080p and so it makes more sense to buy them over DVDs. Iron Man in 1080p looks great. I think it will be just like the change from VHS to DVD. That didn't happen over night either. Now try to find VHS tapes.
EA needs to go back to a game like NFS 3: Hot Pursuit. Why not make a game like that with great graphics? That was a great game. The police chases were really good.
"This study data is slanted in favor of Bluray by mixing and matching the data, because if you read carefully why does it state "HDTV owners familiar with Blu-ray"?"
You must think nobody will upgrade to HDTV or care about video quality. HDTVs with 1080p are getting cheap. If you have a 1080p HDTV you don't want to watch a downloaded movie. Blu-ray looks a lot better.
This reminds me of when DVD first came out. It didn't take over right away. ...
I don't care either way. Both systems work most of the time. I just have to laugh at people who say Sony should charge for their network because it will mean it won't happen. Even charging for service doesn't guarantee anything.
Seems like it would be smarter for poor Brazilians to just buy a PS2. Who will make games for this console?
I have to laugh at that part about Treyarch's hard work. Infinity Ward did the really hard work. They created the game engine this game is built on. Treyarch really just took that and put their own levels on top of it. So they did some work but they had a lot of help. It might still be worth buying but Treyarch didn't do this alone. They had a lot of help.
That's pretty funny. But I wonder what the big honchos at Activision think? These two groups seem like brothers who don't get along. Is their sibling rivalry at Activision?
Also, didn't Infinity Ward create the game engine being used for World At War? That means they don't have to really do that much work. They just get to work on the fun details.
Maybe that's good enough for you but it isn't for me. Confirmed means the company announces it and says it's happening. Until then it is nothing more than another rumor.
I don't know what tip 10 is. I got tired of all the congratulations, you won blah blah blah messages I got every time I clicked next. That first tip about downloading saves seems more like cheating than a tip though.
Excuse me but that report looks like just another rumor for now. I see nothing official that confirms anything.
If you're talking about the reviewer's opinion maybe you should read his review. He said maybe he feels this way because he's played so many games lately. And he hasn't even played much of the game yet. This is the big problem with reviews now. Most are based on playing just a small part of the game.
LightningPS3PS3 - Maybe you don't like that Insomniac didn't include multiplayer in the story mode but they said a lot of people complained about no co-op in the online game of Resistance so they put a lot into that mode. It takes a lot of time and work to make each mode and they probably just didn't want to spend that much on that mode. At least they had the single player mode.
I don't like how he says check next week for his final review of the game after he admitted he hasn't really played the game. A lot of Resistance 2 reviews have been mediocre. Good thing most people who like the series will just buy the game. The single player part of Resistance 2 seems mostly like a way to start playing. Then you get into the real game. Maybe he should just review the single player part and state that.
Even if Konami doesn't make PS3 exclusives this shows developers should start off making the game for the PS3. Make it use all the power. Then they can port to the 360 and make it run on that hardware. Multi-platform games are okay but I'm sure most aren't even close to using half the power of the PS3. We just get 360 games made to run on the PS3. Make real PS3 games.
These idiots who set up Websites and complain about Sony sure are getting tiring. Just more nitpicking over a nonissue. He can't afford a cheap USB extension cable or new longer cable?
"Every PS3 game will suffer because sony is CRAP at marketing...."
I don't agree with that at all. Lately all I read is dumb comments like yours. People say Sony doesn't advertise the PS3. I see commercials all the time. And I always know a PS3 commercial is on because of the sound they always use in their commercials. They could do more to advertise their bigger games but I don't see many Nintendo or Micrsoft commercials either. Maybe it depends on what you watch on ...
