Don't have an Xbox 1 ATM, but color me intrigued about this game. Hopefully a new franchise for Insomniac, as Fuse sold for crap.
A quick Google search shows that you are right. My apologies, I have been avoiding the internet in general and GTA 5 reviews specifically for like the last month. I found the title apt, Loved the single player, was really indifferent toward the multiplayer, and the app is a fucking abomination. What did you think of the review?
If Aliens: Colonial Marines didn't teach them, what will?
I had a lot of fun with the original Octodad. It was more of a proof of concept than a full-fledged game, though. If they manage to retain the humor and style of the first game, I am totally on board for this.
Those look terrible. Thanks for the ideas!
agreed, very hard not to compare to the uncharted series, but it acquits itself quite well. Glad to see quality return to the tomb raider series. Bring on the sequel!
Looks alright to me. Not $60 alright, but maybe I'll pick it up when it hits 20-30 bucks.
As an Android user, I am concerned that my custom plate TITLOVR will be taken by the time I get the app. This is a point of consternation for me.
I feel like the creative folks get a lot of kudos, and rightly so. But Yamauchi was an example of how influential the suits are, and how important it is for corporate leadership to have vision. Without his foresight, we wouldn't have seen the NES. RIP Yamauchi
Someone is going to win a PS4! Everyone is going to win explosive diarrhea.
I agree with you, misinformed is putting it lightly. Sony bought Gaikai last July, that's a year and two months, not two years. And saying that a streaming service that can potentially deliver almost 20 years of Sony's video game library on demand is "nothing special" is just a deliberate troll attempt.
Sony spent a lot of money on Gaikai, it makes sense that they would want to use that technology any way they can. Between this and remote play, I know they'll get their money's worth. I can envision a near future where subscribing to Playstation Plus entitles the user to a huge streaming library from PS1-PS3. Gaikai could be Sony's Netflix.
Attention iphone/android game developers: if you push Facebook on me, I will not buy your game. Not now, not ever. Forcing Facebook sign ins and buying time/lives whatever is a sure way to ruin the long term prospects of your game. Which is a shame. Because I've purchased Where's my Water/Perry/Mickey, and thoroughly enjoyed each installment. I won't even download WMW2, as I do not support this type of scheme. A pox on Candy Crush, and all it has wrought upon gaming.
Complaining that someone has an opinion different than yours = no life
Getting up in arms because someone says something negative about GTA 5 = no life
Starting an internet petition about ANYTHING = no life
No wonder gamers have such a bad reputation in regards to maturity. Like a bunch of children, the loud ones, anyway.
Now that you've moved on to the new Star Wars trilogy, you better get some salve for that butthurt, JJ. To say that Star Wars games have a checkered reputation for quality is an understatement. And if you're gonna play in George's sandbox, be prepared for them to release a multi platform wet turd onto store shelves to promote the flick.
I don't know if it's the most important part, but I am sure hype about it. I played a lot of turf war online in GTA 4, but I was a little disappointed with the open/sandbox/free play mode. Once I used the swingset glitch a couple hundred times, I was done. Allowing you to do robberies or side activities like golf/tennis with your buddies online sounds great. Buy your own apartment and clothes with persistent in game cash? Sounds cool to me. If Playstation Home let you go to stri...
"Chopper, sic balls."
for me, vg music in the 90's was all about Sega. So many great composers. Nice to see Ecco the Dolphin make this list.
I heven't played Hitman yet, but Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs were both fantastic games. As was mentioned, Tomb Raider did sell 4 million copies. If Square Enix has a problem, it's this. Their expectations are too high, and they don't know how to market the great games that are being produced here. If you need to sell 10 million copies of a title to be successful, guess what dum dums. You will not be successful.
I don't really think the Vita needs those types of games. Uncharted Golden Abyss was basically a big Uncharted game, albeit with stupid touchscreen mini games added in. I found it boring. The best games on Vita for me have been Hotline Miami, Guacamelee, and Tearaway. If anything, they need more games like Tearaway. Games that can only be played on the Vita.
