It's very tempting to grab one and I don't know if I will be able to resist if I spot one on shelves, but the problems I am hearing about are making it easier to wait. I'm also not convinced the games currently available are better than what the Wii u and current gen are offering. That recently announced infamous bundle looks like the right choice for me. Looks like the ps4 is definitely going to be a must-own system once they get some more titles out and kinks worked out.

Why Nintendo hasnt convinced Rockstar to put GTA 5 on Wii U is beyind me. It would fix damn near my only complaint with the game: extensive pausing to view the map. Seriously, the gamepad was made for games like GTA 5. Just try LEGO City (aka LEGO GTA)on wii U then tell me that GTA 5 wouldnt be a shitload better on the gamepad! I hope they eventually announce it or at least support the u, but probably not.
P{eople need to stop using multiplayer as an excuse for it being "better" on other platforms. They really needed to have Mario Kart 8 and/or Smash Bros come out this holiday season. Im also thinking they should have prepped simultaneous 3DS/Wii U versions of some of their awesome 3DS lineup. I love my Xbox 360, but this kinect crap is the reason I refuse to buy an Xbone. Sell One without Kinect for $399 and Ill get one, but I refuse to pay for something that can and will be used to monitor ,y communications. I got rid of my smartphone for this reason and I can damn sure hold out on a new Xbox.
Wrong. Nintendo doesn't need a bunch of 3rd party games that are the exact same thing as what's available on other systems. Nintendo provides something that no other company does. theres some sweet wii u games for cheap on amazon. Fifa is actually pretty good too for around $16.
The ps3 launch was horrendous! It is quite amazing how much they turned that system around! Overall though, the PS brand has had some decent launches. I will still wait til at least 6 months after ps4 launch, or when they release an Infamous Second Son bundle. That game right there is why Im getting a ps4 over xbone. I have the wii U to hold me over til then.

Umm, Zelda does have a leveling system... beating the bosses and getting a new heart container. Also searching out heart pieces is essentially leveling. If you want Skyrim go play Skyrim. for real. I really cant wait to see what the 2015 sports lineup looks like. I wish 2K would take a shot at a next gen NHL game. Im getting bored with EA's series but there isnt anything to compete. I understand 2K sticking with what they do best with NBA, but they still released a crappy MLB game so they should at least attempt an NHL game again.

Just further proof that all this hype about next gen is just that...hype! I dont buy into it anymore. All these terms they use to describe how much better things will be and they still havent fixed the little stuff. Im tired of companies trying to sell potential instead of actual advancement. Ehhh... looks good but not "I need to spend $400-$500 on a new system for this" good. I predict next year's sports titles to make the difference and make me want to take the plunge. Not biting this time around. Next year they will have had time to implement new stuff and actually take advantage of the new platforms. Im saving my money for the awesome deals on next gen hardware that I am sure they will have next year during the holidays.
Very nice and objective review from someone who actually understands what this game is trying to do. For a mere $30 I will get this for my 8 and 12 year old to go under the xmas tree.
Great news if true. If 3rd parties are gonna skimp out this is the perfect solution for Nintendo as a stop gap between big new titles. With how well the Wind Wake remake turned out I am convinced this is a great idea. Majoras Mask HD with gamepad map and inventory would be awesome. They should also HD port some 3ds games.
