DOA 6 is a super fun game, this coming from an all-around fighting game lover, but the microtransactions are blatantly egregious and serve to exploit gamers that are particularly thirsty.

This developer delayed the game multiple times--you know they worked their asses off--is not that well known, and they finally come to release time. Objective gamers give it the praise it needs, a foothold into the wider audience.

It was marketed to mass audiences, and, like it or not, mass audiences don't want a game that's fun after 10 hours. Whether or not you think the game is great, this reaction should surprise no one.
