The Xbox 360 was unreliable. It broke often; a lot of experienced the "Red Ring of Death." It didn't have many games that appealed to the RPG loving Japanese.

It's a bit ridiculous that people troll the Wii U gamepad as being gimmicky but when playstation does it with the Vita, Sony is praised for "innovation."

Not true dude. I bought third party games on my Wii U (Darksiders 2, Assassins' Creed IV). Darksider's graphics were pretty bad on Wii U, on some parts I noticed flickering between frames and you could honestly see jagged edges and almost pixeled looking textures on the characters. The framerate dips too.
Assassins's Creed on Wii U had a lower framerate than the 360/ps3 versions. Textures blurred and there was jagged edges.

Pachter only estimates and guesses every time he says something. He never states any in depth analysis to explain his reasoning. In fact, I never have seen any analysis deeper than the estimated numbers he says for the entire time.
Pachter said that the Xbox One has sold more than the Wii U in August but, haven't all the other news and rumours swamped his opinion by saying the Wii U has been outselling the Xbox One?
