Its not being devoted to a corporate entity. It is being devoted to who is providing what you want. I was a Nintendo 'fanboy', then TG16, then Sega, then Sony. Its been mostly Sony for about 20 years, and that is because they are doing things right. (and I do have 2 other current gen machines) Just trying to explain why people are so biased towards Sony.
Try pstv first. Its dirt cheap. My son plays ps4 with it in his room (ps4 is in living room). It isn't perfect, bit for what they cost you can't go wrong. I have 70mbps internet and it works fine WIRED w Ethernet. Not so great on wireless unless its in the next room. Only negative is its 720 I think instead of 1080, and you use a ps3 controller so no touchpad like on ps4.(not that many games utilize)
What are your thoughts in comparison to the new Wolfenstein? Would live something similar but with doom multiplayer. Never got into doom 3, but spent WAY too much time with original doom! An unhealthy amount of time!

I will have to try the games first. If there are as many awesome games as I am hearing, I'll gladly throw down the 399 or 499 or what ever. Its all about whether the experience is worth it, and in general I am hearing it is.

Thought I was the only one lol. My kids play a bit more than they should so I guess that makes up for it! I too buy a lot of games that just kind of sit around. Mario and Minecraft sure have gotten some hours on them in the mean time!

Bubbles. I totally agree. Gaming journalism used to actually be professional. I miss those days. Though I am a bit of a Sony fan now, I Do have other systems, and have had most systems released in the past 30 years. Back in the day I was a bit of a Sega fan, bit I think the 'journalism' now really amplifies things. I guess clickbait and fanboys are actually a decent description...
Yep, only people with Xbox have the issue, but its all user error... Guess no one with a PlayStation or Wii ever bumped their machine...
