Yeah, committed to improving and updating (for a few years then no support or games for a few years, then dropping it like a bad habit ala xbox, 360)
You know, it would be different but it is industry standard. First they (hdd manufacturers) round up which is allowed (apparently). Then there is the fact they base it on 1000 MB when 1GB is actually 1024... Then you have the pre installed os and apps. Its really not quite right but every electronics company does it the same way. They base specs on manufacturers advertised hdd size, not accounting the other mentioned variables.
Nice review. Really makes you understand your love of the game and makes one want to feel the Experience and see what the story is about and how it ends. I take it the ending is great...
The 3ds will hold them over for a while. For people who own the wiiu first party will be just fine but i dont see nintendo competing this gen even with their (always great) first party support. If you think long term nintendo may be set up pretty good for a new next gen entry in a few years. Sony and ms eill have a lot invested, too much to move on prematurely. Nintendo wont have anything holding them back on moving towards a new gen.
Really nice write up geekspodcast. (thoughts of socom confrontation, cough...)
Yeah i got a wee sidetracked but thats where i was going with that. No need for multiple units now. As to a below post as to why a vita is not a more feasible choice... VitaTv is $99, Vita is $249. I for one have wanted a Vita for streaming media and ps4. I really dont game on the go.
That is exactly what I am thinking. I had a ps3 in living room Then one in bedroom (mostly for netflix and kids games). Recently moved that ps3 to the kids room. When I grab a ps4 in a couple weeks for living room I will move the other ps3 in bedroom. When one of the ps3 eventually take a crap one can be replaced with vita tv.
Apparently you never used Gaikai. I was using a Dell Inspiron 6000 stock and playing Crysis 2.It looked incredible with no lag. At the time I had 25mbps which is not insane fast or anything.
Can't wait for more uncharted. They could release 3 more in the same day and i would buy all three and sit down and play them straight through.
Ok, thats pretty funny.... :)
Tx for the link. Funny shit. ;-)
Lol
Nice write up. Interesting speculation.
It's not like they took out Wi-fi and charged $100 for a separate peripheral, or charge peopple $150 for a separate hard drive, or made a separate attachment to play Blu-Rays. I mean what modern day company would do such a thing?

priceless
@fox2
yes, nice presentation and she did seem to be very proud.I didn't notice any lag at all. I personally still am not planning on paying $500 to talk to my tv to do things my cable box already does or Skype that my phone and laptop already do. But you certainly can't say that was laggy or a bad presentation.
i just won't buy it. problem solved. so the console turns off, big deal. my console is pretty much on all the time even when we are watching cable, between the one in bedroom and living room one is always on Netflix.
umm, do we forget the Atari Jaguar controller?
a SpyHunter remake that doesnt suck would be a start
Wipeout HD was 1080/60fps on ps3
Not saying 6v6 can't be fun because it obviously can be. You would just expect a new current-gen game to have a player count higher than that as an option. Shooters from PS2 era were 32v32 so you would expect a couple gen later to have more than 6v6 as an option at least. Again, not saying 6v6 can't be fun cause it can be. MAG was a lot of fun with the huge player counts but i am not expecting 100 person multiplayer or anything. Its a lot to follow. Just 6v6 is awfully surprising to m...
