if someone has wiiu and want to buy switch only for zelda then there is absolutely no reason to do so.
wiiu version runs so well and had one framerate drop in the 20hours i have been playing.

i had a blast with zelda this weekend on wiiu. I am pretty surprised Zelda only sold 22% on wiiu.
the big question is: what did the remaining 25% of switch owners get with the console? LOL
some prefer 1-2 switch and Bomberman to Zelda apprently.

PS4 is really a no brainer and those who say otherwise are either trolls or they don't know what PS4 is.
Second console of choice is WiiU. having a blast on MK8 or Splatoon 2 on FREE online :)
Playing Zelda in full glory, being able to switch between gamepad gameplay and TV with a finger touch, all opposite of switch that you should get up to dock/undock it for the occasion.
ff9 heroic fantasy world was so eye catching, but as you said the fighting isn't the best, mostly because the fighting system is borrowed from very old FF episodes and the idea hasn't been developed enough so it felt old. The trance techniques aren't very appealing either.
Still one of my favorite FF games to date.
