I tried the Oculus Rift yesterday and wasn't impressed. I could see each pixel easily. I can't even see them that well on TVs. I can't imagine what the PSVR will look like if it's not as powerful as the Oculus. But VR has a loooong way to go. It gets boring fast.
PS4 will have 2 at least maybe a slim eventually also. Plus didn't a new quieter PS4 sku release called the Ultimate Player Edition because the old one sounded like a jet pack?

The esram could always be bypassed. It doesn't have to be used.
@sunnyd oh yeah the Scorpio will be more powerful than the Neo. All the rumors I've heard about these 2 new consoles have been true so far even tho you guys have downplayed it in denial. The Neo is nowhere touching the Scorpio as far as power. MS only revealed it this soon because they know that it's too late for Sony to do anything at this point. Sony already confirmed the Neo and will be releasing it first. So MS still has the advantage. They're not playing around.
@squidbuck well the price won't be bad because I feel MS will sell it at a loss. And even tho the Scorpio's GPU (6 teraflops) is comparable to nvidia 1070 GTX (6.5 teraflops) in performance, the 1070 is only $379. Scorpio's GPUs will be cheaper because it's made by AMD. A Scorpio could be $500-600.
Only bad on N4G. Let's remember Sony shows games coming out 2-3 years later. And usually MS holds back for the Gamescom event.
Looks good. I like how they change the point of view to primarily above the waist instead of showing the whole body. Could be the best God Of War.
@Errorists why would I buy a Neo with the PSVR when I could buy the most powerful console, Scorpio, and most powerful VR headset, Oculus? Plus I could use the Oculus on my pc. And if I buy a game one Xbox One or Scorpio I automatically get it free on my pc. And I get Xbox 360 backwards compatible games on my X1/Scorpio. The choice is too easy.
Yeah they probably will have to upgrade. VR is just not technically possible on the Xbox One especially if we're talking about the Oculus Rift. Games would look so basic that it wouldn't be enjoyable.
Hey that's a summary. You can't just order chips and have it ordered like a pizza.
@Sevir the Neo is rumoured to release earlier than the Scorpio. So MS would just counter a move like that. But it's more important for the Neo to release sooner because of PSVR. From the early reviews I saw of the PSVR it was noted that it had a slight latency compared to the Vive and of course the Oculus. Right now the PSVR is pushing the PS4 to the max and the games still look basic. So Sony can't afford to delay just because of the Scorpio. Plus the fact that parts must be ordered ...
The Neo is rumoured to have higher specs than the regular PS4 to improve the PSVR. There will be 2 versions to most games on both the Scorpio and Neo. So what you say about the Scorpio, you have to say about the other the Neo.
How do you feel about the Neo being a successor to the PS4?
If you feel that way, then I feel that about the Neo.
I could say the same with Neo.
You need to read more carefully. I said quote "Xbox One Scorpio 6 teraflops comparable to new Nvidia 1070 GTX at 6.5 teraflops" How am I adding a half? They are comparable being that close. Scorpio specs were revealed. That's more important than the way it looks. When I say comparable, I didn't say it first http://www.trustedreviews.c...
N4G isn't showing you everything MS showed at E3. Gears of War Horde 3.0 is big. Xbox One Slim has 3 versions 500 Gb $299, 1TB $349, 2 TB $399, Xbox One Scorpio 6 teraflops comparable to new Nvidia 1070 GTX at 6.5 teraflops, Scalebound is co-op now, any game bought one Xbox One automatically free on Windows 10 which leads me to question those who say they can just buy Xbox exclusives on pc and not buy on Xbox. Why would you not get a Xbox One Slim or Scorpio and buy the games and get 2 fo...
I agree Sony shows you games releasing in 2-3 years. Then they finally give you a release date and end up pushing that back. The biggest talk of E3 was the Xbox Scorpio because it stirred up a lot of emotions. You either got excited, mad, or were in denial. But the good thing for Sony fans is that you'll see the PS5 sooner than you thought. Lol
