Any company can be hacked, but the hackers have no motivation to take down xbox live. Who knows though, hackers could hack xbox live just for the hell of it. What if the hackers just want to prove they can take down live? Who knows what motivates these idiots.
Hackers had a big beef with Sony, not so much with Microsoft. MS has a ton of experience with software and has dealt with huge security issues before while Sony doesn't.
Meh that's money I'd rather spend on PS3 exclusives.

Let's say their network was hacked, I seriously doubt the impact would be as huge as the impact it's had on Sony's network.

The only reason PSN was hacked was cause Sony was trying to protect it's system and not allow people to play free games on it. They pissed off a bunch of loser hackers in the process hence this whole mess.

Nope. I still buy mostly PS3. exclusives anyway.
People who own both consoles will probably get the 360 multiplat version so they actually have some games to play on their 360.

Hackers probably favor the 360 because it's so easy to mod and play free games on it, while Sony's fighting to the bitter end to keep their system safe.

If all Nintendo releases is Mario 16, Zelda 24, or Pokemon 25 then I'll just pass on it. If they bring out new and different franchises I'll check it out.
This 8gb hd rumour has to be false. There's no way Nintendo would be stupid enough to put only 8gigs when they know that it won't even be close to being enough.
If the hd is upgradeable that makes it a little bit better, but still makes them look really stingy. Why would they be so damn cheap when hd's aren't that expensive nowadays? It just doesn't make sense.
