The 360 needs this game more than the PS3 does. That's why MS is going to advertise it like it's their own, they don't have many 1st party games anyways. What's funny is this game would sell a ton even without all the money spent on advertising. Sony's smart not to waste that money.

Sony's had some miss steps but they're still alive and kicking. They're still pumping out core game after core game this year and well into the next and beyond.
Besides the PSN hack, Sony's been making some good moves and partnerships lately. I can't wait to see what their partnership with Google brings if anything.

I'm not a huge fan of Move or Kinect but atleast Sony's still pumping out the core games on a regular basis while supporting Move at the same time.

Well just look at the other two competitors.
MS = Abandoning the core market for casuals while relying solely on 3rd party support for games. 1st party releases have basically ended for MS. MS seems to have no interest in pushing the 360 hardware or showcasing anything new for it. All their focus is on Kinect.
Nintendo = Under powered console targeted for non gamers and casuals. Nintendo is now playing catch up with their project Cafe.

Halo and Gears made the 360 what it is today. Without those exclusives there really is no 360. Call of Duty would be it's saving grace.

Just get a PS3, that way you get the best of both worlds and the only 360 exclusives worthwhile you'll be missing are Halo and Gears.
Next-Gen should be even better since Epic will most likely go multiplat like the creators of Halo.

MS might rush out their new console, but I doubt Sony will. 5 years later the PS3 is still $299 and still going pretty strong.
