i dunno what to think about this. on one hand it's good that they're offering it but how many ps3 owners are really interested in this?
i just hope sony doesnt try to force its 1st party devs to try and make motion games it's main focus.
sony's been on a roll with 1st party games. i hope they continue to take risks. i'd hate to see them ruin it with with a bunch of "wii motion" mee too type games.

the PS3 will have the games. sony just needs that $299, $199 sweetspot. $299 for a PS3 that plays games, blurays and has free internet will be hard to pass on.
the PS3 is a machine built to last, quality wise and future wise. MS and Nintendo will have to upgrade sooner than later. Sony does not.
the ps3 is powerful enough that it will be able to compete6,7,8,9,10 years into it's lifespan.
you can guarantee sony will support it's system. it did with the ps1, ps2, and they will with ps3. it's called longevity folks, i know the 360 fans know nothing about it.
the 360 will be abandoned ASAP and will be a bargain bin system with no support as soon as the 720 comes out.
the graphics are good but that's not why im excited about MAG. if it doesnt have absolutely gorgeous graphics i wouldnt care much. Ps3 owners have killzone 2, Uncharted 2, God of War 3 to brag about graphics.
if Zipper pulls this off right(and i have a feeling they will), this could be the PS3's own exclusive "COD4" type game. this has huge potential.
i hope they do it right. i cant wait.

prototype has an edge since it's multiplat but infamous will do good though no doubt. infamous looks like it will be the deeper game so far i guess we'll see.
the real winners here are ps3 owners cause they get both.
GTA 5 exclusive for ps3. that would be a megaton. a show stealer for sony.
i dl'd the demo on psn and have played it for atleast 4 hours + by myself.
the gamelay is simple and will be deep once you get more into it. i love how you can get knocked out at any moment. it adds an aura of danger and keeps you on your toes.
i went to my buddies house and we played the game for 3+ hours. it was fun as hell knocking each other out. i cant wait to get the final build and play as all of the UFC fighters.
there's just something special about "owning" a game or bluray that you dont get with something you just downloaded.
even when internet speeds get up to date and dlc is all the rage, i would still prefer physical media. because a) if your HD crashes, atleast you still have your games/movies. b) you can let someone borrow or sell your game.
i cant help but feel it wont be that much different that cod4. how can it be right? people shouldnt hype this too much.
still, should be a good game and probably a first day buy for me.
they dont abandon their hardware... they didnt with ps1, they didnt with ps2.
and they wont with ps3.
cant say the same about MS, who completely abandoned xbox 1(ps2 is still selling) that's why i probably will never buy a MS console, they're only in it to be "number one" and they'll do it at any cost. they'll probably ditch the 360 as soon as they can to get the jump on sony's ps4.

Sony doesnt have to say anything. everyone knows how much better the ps3 is hardware wise.
everyone knows that the 360 isnt just cheap in price, but quality as well.
