but to be honest im not that excited by it. we'll just have to wait and see how this works out.
what this tells me though is how sony is planning on supporting the ps3 in the future. they genuinely want to support the ps3 10 year life cycle which is a good thing.

if microsoft can convince millions of gamers to buy a console with a high defect rate, make them pay for online service that should be free, make them pay for expensive proprietary HD's, convince gamers that DVD9 wont limit the system...etc... etc...

its vgchartz guys i wouldnt trust there numbers wholeheartedly. not saying ps3 slim couldnt sell 500k in 1 week because i know it could.
but it's vgchartz, for all we know they could be jacking the numbers up so when/if the official numbers are in and are lower than what they said they'll scream "ps3 fails cuz they sold lower than expected".
if this is true it's awesome news though. lets hope this translates into more software sales too.
