Ya fanboys are incredible. The poor guy is only saying that the current games line up in itself is not enough of an incentive to go buy one, given its price tag. He didn't say that the Vita is crap. He knows it's a machine with great, yet (at the moment) poorly exploited potential. He hopes that Sony will take the necessary steps to correct the situation (more games? lower price tag? anything!).
And I agree with this article. You all have to understand that I o...
I. Can't. Wait.
A lot of those spin-offs actually ended up being pretty successful - I wouldn't call them all WTH.
@chris - I agree that the Vita is a better machine, I'm just saying it doesn't have the games to support it right now. And a console is only as good as its games.
But the 3ds has 2 screens!
Funny, there was an article a few weeks back on the "best 25 PS Vita games" and one guy commented that he didn't know there were 25 games at the time (he got disagrees from all the PS fanboys, obviously and one of them aggressively told him that there were, in fact, 60 games, and he would know that if he weren't such a troll). I looked at what's available in the 2 biggest electronic retailers in Canada, and there are only about 30 games available(!), some of which are b...
Yes, but the 3DS was $170 after 7 months, not $250...
Just a few days ago I saw someone asking if the BestBuy Blowout 2.0 was also announced in Canada, and the poor guy got so many disagrees, I just couldn't believe it. What is wrong with the N4G community? it's like everyone is 15 again... or are they?
Tons of games already have a reward system (do this and that to unlock this weapon). Achievements or trophies are not essential, but I find it's fun to compare your achievements to those of your friends...
I totally agree with your assessment - I find the game quite tedious, and yet it scores 80 on metacritic? I guess some of us are in need of a pokefix...
It's not that the guy is being harsh - it's just that he doesn't explain well enough why he thinks it deserves a 4/10... Saying that "it feels like a grind" is kind of a shocker, because Pokemon is and always was all about grinding...
oh yeah, and catching'em all, of course...
LOL! Awesome article. I've got way too many games and too little time to finish them all before the end of next year. Ah, growing old is not as fun as it sounds... Oh wait, it's EXACTLY as fun as it sounds...
... like a poisoned cupcake?
Is it just me or the guy just never understood that you have tu use the c-pad to dodge in Kid Icarus? not the stylus, buddy.
720p?
Exactly my point - I wouldn't mind at all! But from what I've seen from the Wii U, I don't see how having that additional screen in your hands would improve the experience. It seems like the whole thing is just another gimmick and I'm not yet convinced that it will actually bring something more to the experience - most of the games that have been announced so far are ports of older games (except for ZombiU and one or two first party games - I'm always a fan of zombie gam...
I hope it won't fail, but I would see nothing wrong with Nintendo becoming a 3rd party developper... Most of their sales are from 1st party games anyway... Unless someone thinks it would be weird playing mario on PS3 or 360?
@Menchi
I agree with you, I'm just very disappointed that gays have to put the gay in gaymercon just to feel safer or more accepted - I wish I could say that LGBT people are accepted and welcomed everywhere, but I know the truth of that... But the world is changing (if slowly), and I look forward to the day when we won't need to have a Gaymercon, and we'll all be able to have a great time at the Gamercon, regardless of anyone's sexual orientation.
Ignore the bigots for a moment... Is there anything about gaming at the Gaymercon that I wouldn't find at the Gamercon? Is there a real reason for having a separate event just for gay people? I mean, other than the opportunity to meet other people of the same sexual orientation? Shouldn't gays and heteros mix it up if we are to coexist in harmony? Creating an event specifically aimed at gays only serves to fuel the segregation of that group of people. Why have gay Olympics? Do ...
I think both the price AND the lack of content are a factor.
