If the legal issue with Microsoft is the actual reason behind this, how in the world did Nintendo and the Rayman Team plan on releasing it as a killer exclusive for the Wii U in the first place? Would this not have come up long before all the marketing went in to effect for this title?

II and III were awesome too! I've enjoyed them all but Turtles in Time is still probably my favorite.
Classic 2D beat-em up action! I wonder if the new ones coming from Activision will be this enjoyable. I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with.
Highest rating yet for sure. Seems that the reviewer still enjoyed the overall SP and MP experience even with the bugs and lack of polish.
Still hope they revisit this franchise and give it the Batman Arkham City treatment.

I grew up alongside the NES, Genesis and SNES too...amazing time for gamers. Like you stated, it was classic gaming where the focus was on gameplay and FUN!

Totally agree. Saturday cartoons aren't nearly prevalent as they were now and the games and movies just seemed to have more passion, devotion and originality than they do now (for the most part).
One thing that is nice however are the technological advances in terms of graphics, physics and presentation of the films and games so there is that =)
The 90's were amazing. Old school platforming classics like no other. Here was mine of my favorite cartoons from those years...Pirates of Dark Water!

2013 will certainly go down in history as one of the most exciting years in gaming. So much new hardware and possibilities on the horizon. Just hope the selection of next gen games will be as impressive as the new platforms they debut on.

Bubble up sir! Well said, it's action packed from beginning to end with explosions and bad guys coming at you from all directions.
The music and presentation was absolutely nailed. I believe the Japanese version had a code for extra lives or something that helped out a bit but the US port did not...bummer =)
