It's a score / rating at it's highest possible percentage.
These 10's and 100's are being thrown around far too often but they are usually from mags and sites that don't have a whole lot of credibility. You don't see 100's or 10's from IGN, Gamespot or Game Informer but once in a blue moon.
Multiplayer adds value and longevity to games. I don't know if I buy your "Real Gamers" remark. I would say "casual gamers" don't care about multiplayer but "real (diehard, hardcore, what ever title you would like to give it) gamers" definitely care about multiplayer whether it's online or off.

Sites and magazines hand out this rating like it means nothing any more. I believe a perfect score should mean the game / experience is perfect and we all know there is no such thing as perfection. Halo 3 and Bioshock are superb games but neither are perfect and the sites and mags that gave them that rating should be dismissed / ignored when weighing reviews / ratings in the future.

I could care less what some stuff shirt geek at a gaming site or magazine thinks about a video game. The game has to appeal to me personally for me to get excited about it. I got Bioshock but never played it (1 of the highest rated games ever). I got caught up in the hype but it just doesn't apeal to me.

I know quite a few people that beat the game in 10 to 12 hours. Show me a "console game" that compares to Warhawk. 32 players, no lag, no slowdown, rock solid frame rates no matter how big a battle. BTW, Battlefield had slowdown, lag, frame rate drops during big battles... everything Warhawk doesn't.

It already exist. It's called Warhawk. Nothing has this much going on at any given time without a hint of slowdown all the while holding a rock solid frame rate, flawless online / no lag, w/ 32 players. Show me a game that exist on another console that does all Warhawk does.
I played nearly every FPS, TPS and shooter for the newer consoles online and nothing comes close. But I wouldn't mind being proven wrong.
I thought 1080p, HD DVD capacity (or a HD DVD player of any kind) and hard drive standard wasn't needed. One thing is for sure, hardware reliability isn't needed.

Comparing PGR to GT is like comparing Halo to Resistance. They are all fine games but Halo and GT are the pinnacle of their perspective genre and for good reason.
