I was going to ask a question but I have a bad feeling about posting under this article.
it looks identical. I didn't notice anything different. I was suprised how responsive the game was on the 360 pad. The 360 controller (old S XBox controller) is my favorite controller for everything but fighting games. I thought it was going to be a nightmare to use but it worked great. The only thing I didn't care for is using the stick instead of the Dpad.
with your saying playing on the stick doesn't feel right. I guess it's a good thing I'm not into this game because I wouldn't want to have to get use to using the stick. I purchased it on the PS3 and after the first couple days it sat and collected dust until I sold it. VF use to be my favorite "3D" fighting game but I enjoy faster more user friendly games like DOA, Tekken and SC over VF now.

The graphics, story and concept looks incredible but the execution of the CPU AI looks horrid. To a point that it's almost corny / laughable. You get into battles with multiple characters and they take their turns engaging you? All the others just stand there and watch while you have your back to them? They could end you in one motion with their swords but they don't.
I am going to wait on reiews first. I doubt I will run out and get it day one unless the reviews are very favor...
I own 3 units though. I have been on a good run though. I haven't had any problems in nearly a year. It does kind of suck that I had to go through that and I always wonder when the next one will fail. A couple went bad on updates and I get nervous every time a new update comes out.

I downloaded it last night and have played through it a dozen or so times already. I played the first 3 R&C games and I thought I was done with the series until last night.
