and ditto. That is exactly what I was thinking as well. By the time they bring the game out I will be burned out from all the delays and I might actually pass on it. Now I am taking a wait and see approach. Unless it gets great "user" feedback I won't purchase the game.
they kicked off 2008 by basically sealing the hi def format in their favor and being on the brink of one of the biggest years in gaming history with their software lineup for their console.

If you don't care for Bioshock, if you actually played the game that is, and don't like it you are more than entitled to your opinion. But anyone that just blatantly says Bioshock sucks looks rather foolish IMHO.

a crt set. Plasma sets have (not all but most including the Samsung) ghosting issues, burn in and IR problems, which to me are worse than motion blur on LCD sets.
I don't game on a LCD or plasma set because of these issues. I think, other than CRT's, DLP sets offer the best bang for the buck with the least amount of problems for gaming. The response time is really good, very minimal blur if any and no ghosting, burn in or IR to worry about.

I would hate to think you are giving an opinion on something you have no hands on experience with. Can you tell me what about the PS3 upscaling ability you don't like? I have 2 stand alone upscaling DVD players, one is a Samsung, and I have the PS3. Personally I think the PS3 is better than or at the very least equivalent too my stand alone players.

I like the direction they are taking this game. I just hope it plays true to it's roots. I can't wait to find out for myself! I am so pumped for this title I dusted off my Street fighter 3 3rd Strike and played it nearly all week long.

but now that is no longer the case. The most expensive mid size LCD (46" to 52" model) is made by Samsung (LNT**81f model).
That's all that matters to me and the other PS3 consumers that purchased it.
