All I need is 15 other people to play with on a Midway PSN server and that's not a problem. I don't let sales of a game determine whether or not I will play it. Besides you can always play bots when things are slow.

Adapt. We all have to adapt at one time or another. You are acting as if the PS3 controller is garbage or something. It's an excellent responsive controller.

Sony seems to be doing pretty good regardless of your complaints with some 3rd party companies requiring installs. Personally I don' base purchases on whether or not there is an install. I purchase them based on final product value. To say you are going to purchase a game before we know anything about it based on a possible install speaks volumes.

Do you feel better now? Do you usually purchase games not knowing a thing about them? I mean anyone that isn't a new to gaming knows going in what UT is about so don't blame anyone but yourself if you purchased a game knowing it wouldn't appeal to you.
UT3 on the PS3 is the best version of UT ever released to a "console". It is nearly identical in every way to the PC experience of UT and it's the first time that can be said thanks to M/K and mod support. Not to forge...
because of all the mods. I just ordered a mouse and leyboard setup from Logitech because some of the mods, characters and upgrades are so much fun to play. The game is awesome. I rarely every have trouble finding a nearly full midway server to play on.
Jamaicangmr if you PM me I will walk you through finding and installing mods. Or you can simply google it. I use a flash card and my PS3 browser to get the mods. It's a breeze to do. Warning! Once you start you will be ADDICTED!

I am passing on this one because of the DLC EA / Dice are pulling. Not interested. If more devs start pulling this crap I will have to find a new hobby. I am tired of being nickel and dimed to death already but this is taking it too far.

Who cares what system it's on? They most likely will be nearly identical in almost every way. Pick it up for the console you own or prefer to play it on. Why does every multiplatform game have to become a flame war?
suxaxis part. I agree that the original sixaxis controller is rather light and feels kind of flimsy but I really like the DS3. The DS3 is definitely built better then the sixaxis.
I dusted off some of my older PS3 games to see how much I missed rumble. For some games it really adds to the immersion level.

getting any kills firing multiple grenades at the enemy. Must be some kind of glitch with the 3 frags or overkill perk while using a M16 mounted grenade launcher. Maybe 2 m16/nade launcher setups with overkill?
Gears of War says hi. Man it use to work my last nerve with all the glitches and cheaters in that game.
I have yet to play a shooter on any system that doesnt have glitches and (some) people that exploit them. The thing that makes it worse is the developer rarely ever fixes them. Sometimes they try but I have yet to find a game that was completely clean.

then girlfriend purchased me was a Nintendo 8bit system with mario. She doesn't game herself but she could care less how often I play as long as I do my job at work and around the house.
She picks up new releases for me on the way home from work with out having to be asked. The other day she walked in and handed me the DS3 (Dualshock 3) and I didn't even tell her it was out. She even helped me design and decorate my gaming room.

Fanboyism doesn't stop or end at the console war. I think it's actually worse and even more annoying hearing them b!tch over games on the systems they favor. Game vs game, controller vs controller (whether it's a standard, arcade stick, wheel, mouse and keyboard) etc and so on.
