SC was my favorite game when it was released on the Dreamcast but SCIV will be out before this. What's the point of it now? It would have been perfect if it came out now or a couple months ago.

you never cease to amaze me. it take 2 minutes. it's free. the beta has nothing to do with PSN or Sony and yet you complain and then turn it into an us vs them.
Are things looking this bleak that you have to invent things as little as signing up for a beta while not being able to use your PSN handle a hassle? WOW!
At least if I want to change my actual PSN handle I don't have to shell out cash to Sony to do so. ooops. Let's not bring that up though huh XBL fans? PSN is free. This beta is free. If my only cost is not being able to use my PSN handle so be it. Unreal but somehow I think I will get over it.

I don't see it. I don't think these shots look any better than DiRT or Motor Storm. Actually I don't think they are even on par with them. I thought MS was one of the best looking rally racers I have seen so far on a console. This game won't out do Motor Storm 2, GT5 or even GRID in graphics.
being as disappointed in a sequel as I was with BF:Bad Company. The beta is horrible. It's not even close to being on the same level as COD4. The BF beta has bad frame rates, video tearing, hit detection issues, lag, graphics that are not even close to being on the same level as COD4. The one thing I really thought was excellent in BF was the sound.
The only thing that makes BF even remotely interesting is the vehicles. I was so looking forward to BF:BC and now I am hoping EA ...
I don't know if this has been discussed because I rarely read responses under articles for obvious reasons. I think this has more to do with EA launching their own console with in the next couple years then anything else. If EA does launch a console (as much as I am not a fan of EA) I don't see how Sony, MS or Nintendo would be able to compete since EA owns most of the big market franchises.
And here I thought / feared, although I am a fan of the 360, when MS entered the video ...
compares to their G25 force feedback wheel that is compatible with the PS2 and PS3? I was thinking of picking up a G25 but this new wheel from them is half the price.
I just picked up a Logitech (M/K) MX5500 for the PS3. It works flawlessly for UT3. Logitech makes high quality products.

I pre ordered a Wii, PS3 and 360 and only one of them came through. The other 2 the companies (developer and retailers) had last minute shortages and cut their shipments in half. I went through that with the last generation of console as well so I camped out for all new systems just incase. If not for camping out I would not have received 2 of them on launch day.
I guess it all depends on what company you pre order with. At least I know now what companies not to trust in the fu...

I already do. I have a 7.1 setup for my gaming room.
It looks great and hopefully (performance concern) will be a welcomed addition. It's nice to see Sony constantly working on improvements and adding new features and options to an already great (free) service.
Metroid Prime (on an over dose of steroids of course) on the SNES. That mod is going to give the game a whole new feeling as if it's a completely different game all together. I can't wait to try it.
