and they are just using the standard pad as a reference picture for the article. It's not just the D pads response that is the problem IMHO. The design of the (Direction) pad itself just doesn't feel right for fighting games.
I was really excited to hear MS was fixing the D pad (it's the only thing about the controller I don't care for), but I guess the proof will be in functionality. I am looking forward to trying it out.

The game looks stunning to say the least.
it had nothing to do with spamming grenades. The only time spamming nades got on my nerves was on the boat level at night. Nearly every person picks that perk and starts throwing them to the corners. I just skip that level and move on. On any other level it's easy to avoid grenades if you don't sit in one spot or run around like a mad man. Just stay away from windows, corners and open view areas. Using UAV jammer, silencer and dead silence perks help alot with nade spammers and snipers.
March "Friday the 13th" 2009 is what Capcom said at E3. There were remarks about it being clever of Capcom to release it on Friday the 13th. Even the Rep from Capcom got a chuckle out of it during a couple interviews.

Wasn't there an article posting here a few weeks or so ago about adding even more capacity to BluRay disc? I am trying to find the article now. If that is the case and it's compatible with existing BluRay players, it makes me wonder about the future of movies and games on the PS3. No compression needed of any kind. That would be amazing.
This has potential to be an amazing title. I hope they get the physic, frame rate and sound dead on. Can you imagine how awesome it will feel and sound (with DD 5.1) trying to navigate around a tornado?

the bubble shield in competitive modes. Did you notice you can shield yourself and still shoot through it to kill enemies? Hopefully this is just in co op modes or there is a weapon that can counter the shield.

I completely agree. I have 3 different headsets for my PS3. I think it's more a quality issue with some of the headsets and users connection (their own latency to the server) people use on PSN than PSN as a service as to why it's hard to hear some people using their mics.

The thing that gets me most about MS customer support is not being able to understand the agents / CS reps answering the phones! I will give you a couple areas I feel XBL has an edge over PSN since I play on both regularly.
IMHO I feel voice communication is better in game on XBL. (I wish Sony would have their own signature headset for PSN)
Downloads are faster on XBL. Demo's, upgrades and add ons all download faster on XBL (for me at least) than PSN.
Private chat - whether it's during the same game or when you and a friend are playing single player games and just want to shoot the breeze.
