I purchased my last two XBL accounts on sale for $29.99 each and I had gift cards from previous game purchase deals. I ended up spending $40 total for both account renewals. One of our accounts just expired and I am online right now looking for a deal to renew it.
There is NO WAY I would spend $100 a year.
I hope MS isn't stupid enough to believe most XBL subscribers would. I would absolutely stop playing on XBL if the price gets raised.

They are all guesstimates since they don't count every retailer (WalMart, mom and pop shops, small online sellers, etc).

As far as sales go? The only thing I care about is the devs and publishers make enough money to warrant sequels for games I enjoy(ed). So far I have not enjoyed a game more than Uncharted 2. Naughty Dog really out did themselves with this incredible game.

Gears of War 2 got a pass from reviews with it's completely broken matchmaking issues. Oh wait UC2 isn't a wide spread problem since it doesn't affect everyone like GeoW 2's broken online did so I guess that isn't the same huh?
Stop spinning hardware issues when it comes to the PS3. I mean do you seriously have a clue how foolish it makes you look to do so considering the multiple hardware issues MS had this generation? This coming from a 360 fan (-> me).

Personally I think 300,000 is incredible considering the original only did 1/10th those figures release day. I'm sure Naughty Dog is thrilled with those numbers.

Humor is the reason I still come to N4G and pretty much the only reason.
IMO, and that of insidesimracing.tv, the car sounds are incredible and very authentic. That matters more, at least to me, than what tune is being played in the background. I never got into uploading tunes to my consoles. I just use what is offered in game or sometimes even turn off the music (if it's an option).
This games screams QUALITY!
It's the most complete game I have played this generation.
I am going to finish it today for my 1st run through and then I am going to start my 2nd game the minute the credits stop rolling.
Oh well off to play it some more.

I am on chapter 16 and I can already say without a shadow of a doubt I agree with you. This is the best game I have ever played and I have been gaming for 33 years. <- man I'm getting old.

I was thinking taking advantage of this again before the deal is over. Maybe Brutal Legend but I can't think of 2 more. Skate 2 sounds like a good idea.
