What do you consider high end?
^That is my starting point but here is my reality since I myself own 4 individual sound systems that range from what "I" consider entry level to high end. Although my high end system is entry level high end.
All of my sound systems are capable of True DD and DTS HD audio. You can get a decent quality TRUE HD audio receiver for $500 (example: Pioneer VSX 1019AH-K). That isn't a lot of money. Again I don't know what you consider...
I love that song and video. Well deserved!
My favorite game this generation (so far).
The guy that made this video should do more because that was decent.
For me personally PD can take all the time they need. I know the game is going to be worth the wait!
I dont see him as being in the minority.
Popularity does not equal quality and both Halo 3 nor ODST equaled "high caliber quality". Last generation they were high caliber titles but now they have slipped to slightly above mediocrity. They sell because of marketing, hype and brand recognition.
Hopefully Reach will be different but I honestly am not hyped for it at all "yet". The graphics have improved (not to the level of a PS3 exclusive) but I am waiting...
They already are in a league of their own.
^quoted for accuracy!
I just posted yesterday I hope they announce a GOW3 PS3 bundle and "hopefully" here it is. I will definitely pick one up if this rumor becomes reality.
Excellent!

If this style of game is not for you then why are you here?
I don't like RPG's or care about sales articles so guess what? I don't read or post under them.
Back on Topic
I like you am not a huge fan of this genre. I usually rent this style of game but the God of War series it's the exception to the rule for me personally. It is one of my all time favorite series. I still have GOW and GOW 2 for my PS2 and I will be adding GOW3 to my library the day it's released...
Best features and games is opinionated and up to individual preferences but best hardware is not an opinion but a stone cold fact. The PS3 is hands down better hardware.
New stages.
I don't get why Capcom is getting any negative feedback for this game. There is more than enough new options, features and additions to call this a full blown sequel and it is being released a full year after SFIV. How many publishers release yearly titles that offer as much new additions as this title? And Capcom said this is going to be under standard MSRP.
I can't wait for this game. I have SFIV for both the PS3 and 360 and I have fight sticks for both...
sorry but I have no interest in Natal.
It will lack precision and immersion for me. I enjoy kicking back and relaxing while I game. I wouldn't have spent what I did / do on perps (900 degree wheels, fight sticks, flight sticks, etc) to simulate it with body movements.
I spend hundreds of hours per year gaming and most of it is done on specialty controllers like my c0ckpit and my force feedback wheel with a tactile transducer attached to the racing seat. Sitting on a desk ch...
officially in the toilet!
But to be honest I am glad this is happening. I spend more time playing games now then wasting my time sifting through the crap / cesspool that is today's gaming media. So thanks N4G for opening my eyes and allowing trash sites like the one above to drag the media down to depths I doubt it will ever recover from.
Oh well back to gaming!
I am in the process of building another racing c0ckpit just for this game. I just hope Playseat comes out with a limited edition GT5 seat like they did for Forza 3. It would be cool to own one of each. and put them next to each other.
The GT, IMHO, is the best playing wheel game made on any console. I can't wait to turn some laps on my modified G27 and Fanatec 911 S!
Your: "overall best looking driving game to date"
Is flat out nonsense. IMO it's not even the best looking racer released this year. Of course this is just my opinion but why not state my opinion as fact since that is what you are doing?
I think that both Dirt 2 and NFS Shift look as good as if not better than Forza 3. Check my profile and you will see I switch back between Forza 3 and Shift on a daily basis amd I completed Dirt 2. Most people I know prefer the lo...
I disagree with you as well New Zealander. I don't see Forza 3 as being graphically better over GT5 or GT5 being more "arcady". If anything people are complaining the GT5 demo is too hard to play but that is mostly written by people to ignorant to see the demo is set to expert mode.
Unlike most, I wont judge GT5 until I get to play the full "finished" retail version of the game. I have logged roughly 150 gaming hours into Forza 3. It is a fine racing game but ...
Quoted for excellence!
Biggest laugh of 2010 so far for me pixelsword, thanks! ;)
*Stands on chair and APPLAUDS*
Well said pixelsword!
And here you have the single biggest reason MS has so few 1st, 2nd and 3rd party exclusive support. MS spends MOST of their money on marketing, exclusive DLC, timed exclusives, fixing problems (extended warranties) that never would have existed if they didn't rush their hardware out the door and trying to purchase as many of Sony's exclusive titles as possible.
All the while they have a shaky relation with more gaming devs than they do stable. They have run 1st party studios into...
"Respected and trusted" had me bust out laughing. I almost shot coffee all over my keyboard. LOL thanks for jump starting my weekend with some seriously excellent humor!
I mean you were kidding, right?
