The game is simply incredible. I had a blast playing it. I just unlocked my platinum trophy 30 minutes ago. Played and completed it 3 times. My favorite of the series. Fantastic game all around. Now I'm just free roaming checking out the sites and incredible little details SP put into this game.
Games like this spoil you. It's too far and few between to have experiences like this in gaming. Can't wait until E3 to see what the rest of Sony&#...

I'm going to take advantage of this sale and pick up BF4 for $30. I haven't played it yet for the X1 and that's a decent price to warrant owning it for both consoles.

Maybe I'm just reading too much into the name but naturally I'm insinuating the people from this site were older and have been gaming for ages.
I thought Delsin was an excellent character. I liked him even more than Cole. Troy Baker (Delsin) is definitely a better voice actor than Eric Ladin (Cole). At least in my opinion. Both characters were great but I preferred Delsin overall....

I feel this game falls in the 7-8 category. I have it for the XBOX ONE. It runs good enough and is fun to play in small doses but that's about it for me. I haven't played it in a week. I just think it's sorely lacking in so many areas and it could've used more time being polished to become a more complete game.
The graphics are good but not great, performance good not great, lacks multiplayer modes, not a fan of the bot...

This game gets WAY TOO much praise for a game using the most simplistic combat engine I have played since the original PS1 and N64.
The story was decent, voice acting good, didn't care for the ending and overall I thought it was a mediocre game at best and I'm being kind.
It was linear, had poor frame rates, lacked enemy variety and the Marius moved like a tank.
So this is a really bad game to be touting as a graphical marvel consider...

It took me a few days of a lot of gaming hours to beat the game on my 1st play through. Mind you I didn't rush and had Delsin nearly sharded (LOL I sharded my pants) out for the ending. My guesstimation is it took me roughly 20hrs of gameplay to complete the game.
Like you said, it's open world and I enjoyed the game. This game is too damn good to speed run through it. I call BS on some of these guys and their claims. It's not like Infamou...

Climbing mechanics are random?
I played all the games in the series as well and completed I:SS 3x over. I'm still playing the game. I have logged roughly 50hrs into this game and I barely did any climbing at all.
