Last I check the Arcade unit is $199 and yet the PS3 and Wii continue to be in more demand at a higher price point. Over the last couple generations $199 is usually the sweet spot that warrants the most sales. I picked up my 500gb for $50.
Just installed it about 6 weeks ago.
I didn't have any room left on my old hard drive. I had to delete PSN games just to download demos. Now I have all my PSN games back and a ton of demos. I just hope I don't ever need more than 500gb but I'm sure tb's will be a drop in the bucket a year from now.

I rented SS for both consoles. The screen tearing is barely noticeable on the PS3 and I didn't notice any slowdown while playing the game. Even when I collapsed the damn or water tower I didn't see any. Both versions play great. Like most multiplatform titles their differences are miniscule at best.

I am a gamer. I could care less what console the games come on as long as I have a good time playing them. KZ3 looks amazing and the animation in that series in second to none in the shooter genre. I personally cant wait to see more footage of it and it can't be released soon enough.

I have already seen 3D displays on sale for $1499 <-- I have spent more money than that just on a center channel speaker for my gaming setup this week. It's all a matter of what you want or can afford. Gaming is my main vice so it's here I spent most of my disposable income.
I wouldn't be surprised if you will be able to pick up a 3D display near the 1K mark, or possibly even lower, come Fall or Winter 2010.
