Do you own a PS3?
I am only asking because you said best game released this year and you don't strike me as someone that owns both consoles (no offense). If you don't have a PS3 then I would think it would be the best game you have played on the 360 this year.
Personally the most "fun" I had playing a game this year is Assassin's Creed II (played and completed it on both consoles). I got to the party late and didn't get it when it was rele...
I have a bunch of friends at E3, well they went to E3 but they left a day early to live it up in Vegas till Sunday, and they all played Kinect standing. I'm not saying your right or wrong but this isn't how this device is used at E3 for games. Every demo I have seen so far on Kinect the person is standing while playing it.
Care to share those links of developers that say you can play it seated?

EXACTLY!
This is the point I have been trying to make to people since Sony announced 3D for gaming, BluRay and DD movies.
There is no way ALL electronic and broadcast companies would be jumping on the 3D bandwagon and investing billions of dollars if they didn't feel 3D was going to be successful, profitable and here to stay. At least until an even better format is created. I just hope I live long enough to see it. Huge tech head and electronics geek here. I am...
Are you kidding?
I LOVED excitebike. I am going to google for videos right now. Sounds like a must have game to me.
Edit: Just watched a couple videos of Joe Danger. Purchasing it on PSN as soon as walk in the door today.
Thanks for the info callahan09.
Nintendo isn't part of the fanboy wars because their target audience (at least up until now. This E3 it appears Nintendo is going back to their roots and what made their name a household name in the first place), for the most part, is young kids, soccer moms and the elderly that don't spend their time reading gaming sites.
Can you see N4G members slugging it out with grandma? That would be awesome to have a elderly women in here laying down the smack and besting so...
3D, whether it is successful or fails is getting a ton of support and billions of dollars invested into it. It's not just Sony with their gaming division but nearly everyone.
Examples
Hollywood, Comcast, DirectTV (DTV has already upgraded my receiver and surrounding area to 3D), broadcast stations like HBO, Showtime, ESPN, Fox, ABC, NBC, etc and so on, Sony Playstation 3, Nintendo, electronic companies that makes displays and BluRay players like Samsung, Pionee...
but I take it Joe Danger is on the PSN store right now?
I don't visit the PSN store often. I usually just plug and play. Put the game in I want to play and have at it. My PS3 is set to load game on start up. I really should slow it down and look at what PSN has to offer from time to time.
Is there a demo of Joe Danger as well?
I will check it out as soon as I get home today.
Only because they monopolized the PC industry. It's definitely not because of it's quality. I have pulled my hair out for years taking care of all of my relatives and friends computers running on MS products. Most of my friends and some of my relatives have switched to more expensive Macs to not have to deal with those issues any more.
Don't forget MS has share holders to report too. Their gaming division has not recouped their investment in the gaming industry....
^ironic, isn't it?
I am assuming by your use of "tard" you are calling Heisenberg stupid. I think it's safe to say you failed.

Kinect does look silly. MS wont have much if any success with their core audience. I still have a hard time believing this technology even works considering most of the games shown were staged with over the top actors. If this device was ready and they were confident in it, they would have alre...
Okay but who is to blame for lack of studio support and why isn't money spent on creating engines to show case your system and give you core audience new and compelling IP's or pushing your franchise titles to new levels? Maybe because the company that this article is written about only cares about cashing in on the industry instead of actually moving it forward.
This has, as a fan of gaming and not being a brand loyalist (not that I am calling you that SOAD because...
How about instead of relying on websites to tell you how games look or run or what out performs what? You actually take the time and play these games for yourself and make up your own mind. I have played roughly 30 to 40 multiplatform titles on both the PS3 and 360 and I will tell you flat out that the games never look on my displays like these comparison articles show them to look and I have some pretty high end displays and sound systems.
Why do people insist on trusting ...
That ball is out of here
Hey Fishy if I bring the ball to you will you autograph it for me?

The only game I noticed a delay was Tiger Woods which means to me that is was probably more to do with design (work in progress) then the controller itself. The Sorcery game had fantastic response time. It has been reported by several tech sites that Move is between 20 to 25ms. Kinect looks like it's closer to 200 to 250ms.
Like Fishy said ...
So what have you scored since you have been at E3 this year?
6 of my friends are at E3 right now and other than the MS conference they haven't scored anything. I talk to them and text them several times a day. They just sent me a picture of the Marvel vs Capcom 3 area and are laughing because some kid is crushing every person that grabs a controller. I can upload the pictures and videos they are sending me if you want to see them when I get home from work.

It doesn't only hurt but it will cost you bubbles and have nasty PM's sent to you. For the real gamer the truth is what we want to hear / know but there are probably more, well you know, then actual people that enjoy gaming on this site. It's and us vs them mentality here and the funniest and equally saddest part is when they turn on themselves for giving honest opinions.

is Sony is gearing their motion controls for everyone and it looks like it will be adaptable to every type of game. MS appears to be geared towards casual games and an add on for hardcore games that will also need a standard controller.
The Forza tech demo with Kinect was only steering which didn't even appear like the guy was actually playing it. There was no gas and brake and I don't see Turn 10 being able to implement it into a full blown Sim racer like Forza that ...
For me Move is the best bet simply because it is the most versatile and appears to be the most accurate. When I actually pick one up will depend on the games. That Sorcery game look excellent. That game I definitely want!
bigger, better and more badass (lol yeah I went there but totally tongue in cheek) are always around the corner. Next to PC technology nothing advances faster than electronics. Of course electronic purchases depreciate the second you get them in your car on the way home from the retail store. It's the same as purchasing a car. As soon as you leave the lot you automobile just depreciated 10 to 20%.
No offense but your post is over played and redundant. It has been used for...
Comcast, DirectTV, Hollywood, BluRay, Sony Playstation 3 are ALL trying to push 3D into our homes.
Sony, Samsung, Pioneer, Panasonic, Sharp, Mitsubishi, LG, Visio, etc...
are ALL banking on it becoming huge and profitable for them.
A few of my friends are at E3 right now and they love how 3D gaming looks on the PS3. That's all I needed to hear to sell me but I was already sold.
and that is all that matters to me.
Did you not watch the Sony press conference where it was said the electronics industry estimates 30 million 3D displays will be sold by 2011. That is a lot of 3D displays! Now not every one that is going to pick up those displays are PS3 consumers but you can bet your backside a fair amount of them will be.
You get one. Your friends come over. Fall in love. They go buy one!
Though that isn't the case with my circle of fr...
How can you say Kinect has a lot of potential when they looked like staged demos and they only have one game on the floor of E3? The rest are behind a locked door. We don't know what Kinect can truly do yet and it's coming out in a few months!
