Isn't Defenders Quest made by and indie developer, who publishes their own games? They probably don't have the cash to hire people specifically to handle the hassle, and can't afford to divert personnel to handle it.

Maybe, but I think saying an update is going to be released before a dlc implies that the update is free. It would be awfully weird to pay for an update so you can pay for a dlc.

My understanding is that updates usually have patches included and add new features. Still always free.

This does look really good, in fact, I thought the thumbnail before the link here on N4G looked just about at that extremely high level of quality, but the full resolution pics don't even for a second make me wonder if they could be photos.

Fc2 was possibly the most repetitive game I've ever played, and I've played hundreds.....maybe over a thousand. It had such potential, but in the end, a flop.
