Nobody is buying this game for the multiplayer. This feature will be as useless as Assassin Creed and Mass Effect 3's multiplayer no doubt. This is nothing more than an attempt by the dev or publisher to insert perceived value into a game that is doomed for the rental and after market.
The feature list is meaningless unless they add up to the sum of thier parts. I glady paid nearly $700 for my PS3 at the time because I was expecting the most powerful console on the market. I bought it because Sony marketed it as a 1080p gaming console, being savy gamer I knew that any console capable of 1080p gaming must be an absolute beast so the price is well justified.

Games like Farcry 3 makes me wish we have the nextgen by now. Playing a game this lush and vivid on my PS3 feels like a total waste. I'm doing it for the trophies but damn, the texture resolutions is garbage compared to my Steam version.

I'm applying the lessons learned from this gen and I'm buying the consoles with the best multiplat period. I've found that for every single good exclusive I tend to play five other equally good multiplats. If I can't play the next Halo or Killzone, who cares, because I can always play Battlefield. If I can't play Uncharted or Gears of War then I'll play Tomb Raider or Assassin Creed. And so on, and so on.
Multiplat dominated this gen and I expect them...
The current gen of consoles are fossil like. If they're too under powered for your games then stop developing games for then. Work on the nextgen.

God no. I'm super tired of all the Sony gimmicks. First it was motion control DS3. Remember that? How many games even use the motion control in the DS3 now a days?
