The real threat to the PS4 and Xbox One comes from the rapidly expanding powers of the tablets and cell phones. Just like how the computing powers of the current gen of tablets have breeched the PS3 and 360 domain, the same goes for Xbone and PS4.
Consoles CPU have always been weak, the X One and PS 4 are no exceptions with thier low end laptop CPUs. Having an i5 strapped to it would turn the PS4 into a powerhouse but then you wouldn't be paying $400 for it.

You got it. CoD didn't ruin FPS. The console and its auto aim legions ruined FPS. In fact console gamers don't really aim at all, what we really do is we finesse the auto or snap aim mechanics. Out of all the shooters that I've played I can't even recall a single game where the aiming isn't assisted in one form or another.

There might not be a huge graphical improvement if you're making crapstatic JRPGs with annoying spikes haired teenagers. Those games are already glossy as hell and stocked full of cut scenes. But if you're making immersive western RPGs that are immersive and open like Skyrim and Fallout, then yeah, there will be a huge leap.

This is basically Crysis with a drone instead of a suit. I need to cancel this preorder and get a real shooter. BF4 looks miles better and more fun than this. It's worth a rental nothing more.

This is a classic N4G fanboy article. The fact that the dev team haven't received the dev kit is irrelevant. The game is already running on the PS3. Nobody gives a shit if there's going to be a Diablo 3 for Xbone and PS4 or not, because nobody buy the nextgen console to play Diablo 3.
The people who are interested in Diablo 3 have already played it on the PC.
My credit card had to be locked out because I lost wallet, which locked out my Playstation Account because Sony wasn't able to complete a charge on a DLC I just bought. Problem is I'm not able to unlock my PS Account until I dealt with their idiotic customer service who refuses to let me use the same credit card number.
Yeah and they will have those same specs which will be maxed out in roughly two years of a console's life, and by the time they truely maxed out a console it will be grossly obsolete.
Case in point, any of the PS4 games coming out this year. Last of Us or GT 6. Great games but given the choice I would rather spend that same $60 on a game for a console that is running on 2013 technology vs. one that predates the first iPhone.

This is an amazing tech demo but ultimately pointless unless there are gameplay applications.
I'm more interested in the PS4 Plus lineup. I'm enjoying the current PS3 Plus games but lets face it, these games are pretty much disposable content. When the nextgen comes I'm never playing any of my PS3 Plus titles again.
