The problem with the Xbox One and PS4 is the lack of a blockbuster exclusive. A game that can define the brand. So far all the exclusives are totally meh.
Ryse was bashed in the reviews and as a launch game. Nobody expected it to be a world beater. This game was hyped as the best looking shooter ever. Instead it ended up as a glorified movie interrupted by some occasional gun play.
Because you can't judge a game by Gamefly. You must pay $60 like a fanboy to judge.
More than another, this game is just screams Gamefly me. Even if you like it, there is no reason to keep it.
It delivered cut scenes by the truck loads.
Dying Light is a great game that keeps on getting crap reviews. It's like the reviewers just doesn't get it.
I will be playing this at 900p on my PS4. Woot?
I guess if you love glove textures then you have reasons to be excited but his point is valid. The environmental textures are barely nextgen and this doesn't look like the game at the reveal at all. The "gameplay" clip from the PS4 reveal showed crystal clear textures across the board.
Thank god for AMD. It just goes to show how much Nvidia was over charging and the importance of competition in the market place.
Killzone is an open world shooter. Looking around every nook and crany is about as pointless as deciding to flank a Helgas to stab him in the back or to shoot him in the face. Either way, he dies.
Skyrim it ain't.
BF 4 and never look back. Nothing else can come close in term of epic, crazy omfg multiplayer moments.
For graphics, get KZSF to show off your system. CoD is a distant third though it is very noob friendly.
Sony desperately need this to turn their company around. Samsung is absolutely destroying them out there so a win on any front is much needed for the brand.
Not for the nextgen consoles = don't give a damn.
With roughly three weeks left the only thing I care about is Nov 15 and the game's I'll be playing on my PS4. To spend any money or time on last gen garbage is a wasted effort.
There are too many worthless texts in this article and not enough pictures.
Where are the epic set piece battles with friendlies around fighting and dying to get my adrenaline running. I know they're trying hard to demonstrate their new open world gameplay but running around solo and special ability laden combat isn't the reason why I like Killzone. If I want that crap I would be playing Crysis or Far Cry.
Where did this PC elitist whine came from? Right now the only thing holding everyone back are the crap boxes of the PS3 and Xbox 360. These systems are horribly obsolete and every game released on these silicon door stop is a missed opportunity.
With only 1 month away from the PS4 and Xbox One street date I want everything to be designed for the nextgen only. Just imagine how good AC 4 would be if it was designed to run on a console with 8 gigs RAM instead of a console with 5...
This is freaking brilliant. AMD need something like this ASAP because a hardware solution to v-sync is huge.
You know, I always wanted to be a ninja...hmm.
If this was a PS4 game then N4G will be flooded with praise about how good it looks.
Nobody saw the iPhone going anywhere. Nobody saw the tablets going anywhere. Everyone assumed the world will be dominated by desktop PC, notebooks, and consoles.
Yet here we are in a world dominated by mobile devices. Regardless what replaces what is irrelevant. The desktop and the console as we know it are living on bored time.
I don't see a problem. Video games deal in tropes, that's the nature of video games. Deal with it.
Look at Asians in video games for example. Nobody is crying about how they are represented. They're always the techie, Ninjas, or school girl. Aside from Glen in the Walking Dead, when was the last time you seen an Asian character that doesn't scream "I'm Asian"?
