I thought Legands sucked. Everytime they put Lara in modern enviroments the platforming seems extremely contrived. Uncharted share this flaw to a certain extent but when Drake does it looks just a tad more believeable because the game made it looks like he's barely able to make those jumps, where Lara seems to be leaping from building to building like a ninja in a black dress.

OMG I love that game! There are were some issues with the camera but beating up Chinese Triads and smacking people with chairs never cease to entertain. Lats I heard there's a nextgen Indy coming out, what happened to it??
I love Uncharted and I plan on buying this game. They share the same genre but gameplay is completely different. Uncharted action elements are a lot better but Lara is the queen ot exploration in a traditonal sense. The ony problem with the Tomb Raider series is pacing and puzzles that often send you back to the previous levels to find a gear/wheel/block and what not.
Anyways, its good to see Lara looking more "real" on the nextgen. The muscle tone is a nice touch.
LOL!! I had a MS forcefeed back joystick back in the days, damn that thing can get hot. It was great at first but the gears wear out very quickly and in a about three months the stick became totally useless. Other than a certain mouse and keyboards the majority of MS hardware are build like crap. Its as if they were made to fail.
It came with MS Motorcross Madness, fun game! Too bad the motion controls totally sucks. Doing jumps and tricks require precise movements and the motion controls never lived up to the hype. Another problem is the lack of software support, aside MortorX no other games use it.
They are small time vs Id and Epic, yes. Rachet and Crank? Please. While the PS3 version was great Rachet and Crank isn't exactly a well know IP. Resistance was a great shooter but nothing ground breaking, outside of the PS3 it doesn't register on the radar. Doom, Quake and Unreal...probably the biggest three shooters of all time in terms of gaming mindshare.

Peripheral vision and fish eye? What are they nuts? Free running sounds cool until you realize that most soldiers don't have power suits to jump around like Spiderman. The no invisible barriers sounds totally lame. You're playing a game, it must be balanced for gameplay and that would be cheese if everyone can hide under beds or in trashcans.
The Splinter Cell franchise is going no where. We all know that. I've played every single one and while the steath gameplay is better than MG there really isn't much else they do with it. Conviction was a nice try but Ubisoft need to do more 'cause I'm really tired of shooting out lights.
In fact the entire Tom Clancy franchise need to look itself in the mirror. Ghost Recon 3 better be freaking awesome and not just Ghost Recon 1.5, CoD 4 raised the bar so high now anything less...
WTF are you talking about. Fallout 3 is at it's heart a PC tittle. Just like Oblivion it'll be better there than anywhere else, and why isn't Left 4 Dead up there? Co-op shooters, with zombies! You know that will rock.

Sony need to buy either Epic or iD. Those guys are pros when it comes to shooters, multiplayer and engines. When you can bank the developers of Unreal or Quake then you pretty much own two of the greatest FPS franchise of all time.

Maybe the PC is pumping against the limitations of silicon but the consoles are not. Even then the vast majority of PC games are poorly coded and optimized because the devs must account for a vast range of hardware config. Consoles on the hand sports not even half the computing capabilities of the top tier PC gaming systems but their codes are a lot tighter.

A screenshot of this game even in beta form will tell us everything we need to know, where is it? RTS on consoles usually sucks. Every RTS I've played on 360 is a POS when compared to the PC version. LOTR is a great example, the controls sucks, there isn't enough units on the screen, and there isn't enough macros. Micro is a huge part of the RTS experience and microing on the 360 controler is like poking your eyes out with a spoon.
